According to a reply to a Letter to Editor on NYA, Neil Young is working on a new solo  album.

Neil Young: "I've started a new album. It's solo. I've waited a long time for this."

So we end the Year 2020 looking forward to new Neil Young music in 2021. As noted, in our annual Neil Young 2020 Year in Review: The Year That Was NOT Rockin' in the Free World, while Neil was relatively dormant from a concert performance perspective, it was prolific in terms of music releases.
