COMING SOON: Another Neil Young "Fireside Sessions"
Neil Young has announced on Neil Young Archives that he will stream another "Fireside Session" concert during the Christmas season.
During the "pandemic", Neil Young presented several "Fireside Sessions" which some labeled as the "The perfect pandemic antidote". Or -- if you preferred -- "splendid isolation".

In 2020, Neil Young produced four extremely intimate mini concerts with his wife Daryl Hannah.
Also, Neil Young has released a fireplace
video with nearly two hours of music on YouTube. The holiday soundtrack with a crackling fireplace has back catalog songs along with other Christmas songs by
other artists.

Definitely looking forward to some new fireside recordings. Those were one of the bright lights during some of the darkest days of the pandemic (no quotation marks). May we all be spared from having to experience another one in our lifetimes (though we're sure not doing what all we could to prevent that). My heart goes out to all those who lost family or friends or who continue to suffer from Long Covid symptoms.
These performances were just exactly perfect at the time, and I welcome more. I genuinely look forward to whatever Neil and Daryl have in mind.

Neil reports in NYA discovering a set of recordings made at Castles studio in 1985. Says he plans to release them as an album.
These were very surprising and welcomed during the early days of Covid. Like a visit from an old friend. Inspired me to put a a video a day April 2020 - My No Fooling Back Porch collection. I had never done that and by the end of the month my buddies were clamoring for more. So thanks again Neil for always pointing the way to fun! -
Neil Young is announcing the title of the upcoming Chrome Hearts album: "Talkin to the Trees". This being a very rewarding thing I once was told by a rather funny aboriginal person. Trees don't talk back and they can take a lot of shit.
