Dear God, please do not play anything form the new CD at this event, Neil.
Think along the lines of the "Heart of Gold" DVD- that is first-rate and it personifies Neil's career with class.
Leave your political views for CSNY tours and CNN interviews.

Farm Aid was not in Philadelphia. It was in Camden, New Jersey.

Note to Mike C.

Why can't Neil play any political songs? Farm Aid, in its nature, is a political event of sorts. The event is a political statement, in my opinion.

Edith and Earl sang just fine at Farm Aid 06- Brilliant set! A little of this and a little of that!

Mike C - you can't have it both ways bud. Just about everything Neil writes has at least subtle tones and opinions of everything that shapes his beautiful soul and his mind. Relax it's all good and in the big picture around Living with War, it may not be brilliant political commentary, but he's right. He is also "Willing to stay and Pay - USA USA - so his sweet wife can dance another free day USA USA......God Bless Neil, God Bless Mike C and God Bless America!!!!!

I love when Neil gets out his shovel and digs out that old stuff that many people don't know. I was so happy when he played the stuff off of Comes a Time. No one around me knew the music, even though they claimed to be heavy duty Neil fans. I felt like Neil was playing the stuff just for me. Shivers were going down my spine. So emotional.

Mike, Have you listened to Neil's "Living with War"? It's hard for me to imagine being a fan of Neil and not liking his latest album. To me songs like "Roger and Out" and "Families" is as patriotic as one can get, beautiful songs. "Living with war" is just another example of what makes Neil great. As a farmer, I sure would love top see Farm Aid just once before they hang up that project.

Mike C:

I am so glad Neil did not pay any mind to your advice. Every song in the Farm Aid set, aside from Harvest Moon, was political in its own way. DON'T NEED NO STINKING WAR! Get yourself to a Lee Greenwood concert ASAP and leave Shakey for his real fans.
