With another solo Neil Young tour about to commence tomorrow, we thought it would be nice to go back and revisit our last Neil solo outing.

In 2018, we had the honor and privilege of seeing Neil Young solo in Chicago both nights -- one of which we were front row, center as you can see in the top photo.

When Neil is performing solo inches away, you literally hold your breath for 2 hours.  And then you exhale a great sigh of joy and happiness.

So it was a true joy to hear this concert in all of its pristine soundboard glory when a new Neil Young solo concert from Auditorium Theater, Chicago, Il on June 30, 2018 began streaming on Neil Young Archives.

An acoustic performance for my friends in Chicago at the old Auditorium Theater comes with good vibe. That is such a beautiful place. I played there a long time ago with CSNY and played Tonight’s the Night there with the Santa Monica Flyers on another memorable tour. That was a long time ago.
