$18.50 + fees = $20 .35
Them were the days!
And we prob, NO DEFINITELY, bitched about the $1.85 in fees!
I saw Neil for $14 in cleveland in 1985

This tour was good, but what I really dig is the tour before that with The Restless.
I Didn’t know where to post this.
It is off topic. But may be quite valuable to Vinyl Neilophiles:

Dan, you out there?
Maybe Thrash can link to the Neil Young search page & maybe get a kick $. Or the YouTube. I dunno?
Fer the record this is psa to fellow shakey fans. I make no coin from this info.
Merry Christmas!
More Importantly.
Judy Greenburg.
Why is no one mentioning her passing?
Thrash?
Wow! There are some great deals here, not just for Neil. Always makes me feel like a chump when I've shelled out for these already at full retail. Ditto the current 30% off an all Archives box sets on The Greedy Hand store.
I feel ya nomad. I got burned on a pre sale from another artists page. When I protested they actually told me no problem. We can cancel the pre sale and you can purchase elsewhere. I was TRYING to do the right thing & support a band directly. Such hubris is off putting. Money is not flowing in my direction like it was in years past. If I can save $30 + on a single purchase, no brainer. If yer telling yer fans to shop elsewhere, no brains.
I’ll also mention the customer service, packing & shipping has been second to none (if you’ve never shopped @ acoustic sounds b4)
I know this isn't the place to post it and, as we wrap up the year and everyone (hopefully) spends less time crawling around comment sections on the internet and more time with the people or the things they love, this coulee very much go completely unnoticed... but what the hell... I know there's enough of a crossover at this point that plenty of visitors to this site have to also be at least familiar with Yo La Tengo, if not actively fans of the great Hoboken three piece that can go from delicate to riotous string breaking feedback jams with the same dedication Neil brings to his shows. Well, at one of their recent Hanukkah shows (an annual tradition), they did a blistering cover of "Big Crime".
I love this. It shows that the song works for what it is.... a modern folk protest song drenched in feedback. It might not have the lyrical complexity of some of NY's work, but it works exactly as intended. I'd love to see this have legs, see more bands covering this one. Solo folk singers, full bands, NY's peers, whoever. YLT have always had a way with covers, but I think it also shows that the directness and simplicity of this song really lends itself to being interpreted by anyone who connects with it.
If yr not already aware. Enjoy (hopefully!)

Thanks everyone for all the comments.
Appreciate all of you for the support over the years.
Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a joyful New Year. We pray that Peace on EARTH is reality and not a dream.
We know in our hearts the path to peace. Walk with us.

Thank you so much, Thrasher & Thrashette, for your dedication, patience, & hard work. Thrashers wheat is a noble place in a time of so much trouble in the world.
TW provides me comfort when so many other things cannot. The music of Neil Young is like that also.
In a world full of people with different opinions, it’s nice we can meet here as fans & celebrate our hero’s good works & values, music & otherwise.
2025 was a tough year. I hope 2026 is a better year.

Happy New Year to everyone out there! Regardless of your religious or political views, have a good one, and let's all be kind to each other. Peace and best wishes to all, and a big thanks to the Thrashers for doing what they do!

It turns out that since Monsanto had employees doing FDA research, there is now a suspicion that the safety of Roundup is questionable.
It’s been this way for decades, not sure how they woke up and realized Roundup really is carcinogenic and that their good results were false.
Rats had no tumors after 90 day Roundup tainted diets! Gee that’s great. How about at 6 months? What, the testing is all done and over?
I am glad I spent years marching against Monsanto. Big Ag liars can kiss my ass.

Neil Young was right about Monsanto and he is right about Trump.

Trump is such a prick he will probably decide Roundup is safe and end the inquiry!
What a total asshole our prez is. Venezuela will not end well.
Nuremberg for Trump, Miller, Bondi, & the Trump klan. Firing on fishermen for kicks makes them war criminals.
Trump is happy enough to keep the IDF’s Gaza genocide going full speed ahead as nearly 30 aid groups are blocked from providing food aid to starving victims.
Riviera of the Middle East?! That will also not end well!
There are many hundreds protesting in the streets of NY over Trump’s rendition of Maduro. Of course, he did not put the Nobel prize winning opposition candidate in power.
