Hello everyone, sorry I’ve gone missing lately but I’m adjusting to a new job and haven’t had the opportunity to comment. I received my new audio version of Rust Bucket but have yet to hear it, and purchased a large stack of vinyl on RSD Saturday including the CSN&Y Deja Vu Alternates, and only had time to clean them all. Hopefully I’ll have some input this weekend. Rest assured that I visit here everyday and enjoy reading everyone’s thoughts and comments, and it’s nice to know that I have such wonderful friends here.
Farm Aid 2021 is on my birthday this year and I have that day off so I’m hoping for a live stream so I can enjoy it. Hopefully Neil will be playing some of the new songs with Crazy Horse and perhaps premier a few on NYA before September. Looking forward to posting again soon as I get more settled in with the new job. Thanks to those who noticed my absence.
Peace 🙏
Awesome Dan!
Good to know. Wasn't sure if comment tech difficulties?
Great you have DVD replacement. We're still awaiting ours? Greedy Hand confirmed the shipment was made, but can't track shipper. So not sure if lost or delayed.
We've heard USPS delays are huge.
Do you recall if sent by USPS?
As for FA, we're very stoked here @ TW. We've been in touch w/ FarmAidians and we're conformed w/ seats w/ FarmAidian crew. We'll also be joined by WBKM's Tony @ FA.
We'll be trying to do some sort of LiveStream of Press Conf again this year. Maybe some other special backstage coverage/tbd.
as for new CH @ FA. It seems that NY will play w/ The REAL. So can't see that happen. But there are always surprises.
We're hearing this is likely to be Willie's last stand. So that will be historic. We're also excited by Bettye Lavette as well. She's a major legacy as well.
Of course all the other acts are special to. Always look fowd to Margo and her guest appearances in other sets.
on the road again to FA 21!
glad you are back Dan, hope the new job is going well
I’m excited for you guys to actually be there @ Farm Aid 2021, and Promise of the Real are a real quick study so I wouldn’t count out a few new songs from them and Neil. After all the event is still a few months out.
As for the shipping of Rust Bucket DVD, for me it was shipped UPS to USPS mail from California. It took about 10 or 12 days to arrive after being notified that it had shipped. Hopefully you’ll get yours soon. I’m chomping at the bit to see and especially HEAR it, but life has a funny way of creating detours along the way. This weekend is my goal. I’ll give feedback as soon as I can.
Peace 🙏
P. S. Thanks Abner, it’s nice to be back with my tribe. 😎
@ Dan - thanks for shipping update. UPS to USPS ? So a hand off between shippers?
hmm, odd, b/c haven't seen that b4. no wonder it's so hard to track shipments these days?!
Agreed….. I’ve never seen it before either.
Peace 🙏
