your cropped screen capture is very misleading. no place on NYA does it say that tonight's (Feb 4) show is being streamed. not yet anyway. the bottom part of your capture was for last night's (Feb 3) show. however, I do believe that tonight's show is intended to be streamed. at least that was the impression I got from the closing sticky from last Night.
I didn't know where to post this but it's just something I've been thinking about. Let me know your thoughts:
So I've been thinking about the Poncho thing. I have a bit of a conspiracy theory. The last time he played with the horse was in 2014 in Europe. That's around the same time that news of Neil's divorce broke. Also around the same time Poncho's hand got "slammed in a door". It's bizarre that they don't acknowledge him at all anymore. I'm wondering if he spoke his mind to Neil about it all and Neilcut him out the way he did with David Crosby. It's been said for a long time that Poncho is one of the only ppl that is willing to be straight with Neil since Briggs died. Just a thought but they never have acknowledged why it's Nils and not Poncho
@Shakey: Frank hurt his hand in 2013, the tour was called off after that. He returned for the full European tour in 2014. By all accounts he's happy as an organic farmer in Hawaii these days. There were reports that he started rehearsing for the Horse shows last year but got sick and couldn't make it work; Neil posted at the time, "Poncho is unable to join us right now but we all hope he will be back."
@acidfrank: Tonight's stream was announced on the NYA Facebook and Instgram pages last night (and repeated just a few minutes ago), though nothing yet on the NYA site. Social media seems to be their preferred way to pass along info these days.
And to anyone who might be confused by Thrasher's tweet in the main post: Last night's stream started promptly at 8:30 local time with a solo set by Neil, followed by the Horse. Tonight should be pretty much the same.

@Babbo Definitely good points. I just love the Horse. Neil is amazing but with the Horse it just feels different in a good way. And Nils is amazing and I still get that feel, but i love the dynamic between Neil and Poncho. That playfulness when Poncho kicks Neil in the ass. I will take all the Horse I can get these days. I was just hoping to spark a discussion on the topic as not much has been said recently about Poncho
so Babbo,
help me here in So Cal.
Our time should be 6:30pm
to start the stream. Is it on the
Hearse Theater Window. Last night
there was no postie, pop up or anything
for anything other than the Greendale Video.
Where in the heck do I find it at the appropriate time?
BTW, I did sign up for the Archives and have been properly
logged in.
Help me Mr. Wizard!
Kendog
I'm still living the dream we had, for me it's not over. 🐎
@Cat: Yes, 6:30 Pacific. A little before that, there should be a link off the NYA home page and if you go to Hearse Theater there should be some sort of test pattern in advance of the stream. If you're not seeing either of those, maybe try clearing your browser cache, then sign out of NYA and back in. Good luck!
@ acidfrank - thanks and appreciate the attention to detail here. No intent of misleading. The image is directly from NYA file cabinet.
Last night's feed conclusion (see yesterday's post) clearly states: "See you tomorrow"
Anyways, another "test" tonight. Let's all hope the stream gods are smiling on NYCH.
@ Babbo - those times are from the theater's official site. lots of folks are always asking about what times do the doors open? what does opener start? etc.
anyways, seriously appreciate everyone trying to separating the wheat from the chaff.
@ cat - is that you catman?! if so, welcome!
@babbo
Thank you.
Will let you know.

Be prepared, though, NYA just posted this on Facebook: "We assume many will still have buffering issues during the live stream, since we have it found a new host yet" (assuming they meant "haven't found").

Much better looking setlist than the night before.....Danger Bird! First Wonderin since 1996!
Pretty smooth stream, really great show!
Wow! Dangerbird and Hurricane in the same set. It was the long, sparse, spacey songs (Cortez, Hurricane, Big Time) that for me were the most exciting last year as well. I know a certain person here who will be very happy with the first track of the second set, too.
I'm so glad they are back playing together again. I can't wait to hear the show.
Scotsman.
Just watching the acoustic set now - sounds fantastic.
Scotsman.
The video of the CH stream is up and running in the theater and available to subscribers until 9am tomorrow (2/6). So get it while you can...no matter wherever you live.
How awesome is this?
Audio is outstanding!
Video has a sharp image, but is a bit behind the audio. Same as last nights livestream.
How's it with you guys?
I’m not on any social media, nor do I wish to. So I hope that perhaps Neill could notify us on NYA site as I have paid for the subscription. I’m not sure if my investment is being honored as I have missed every live stream so far. I did hear the text with Crazy Horse for several seconds, but at that point there was no mention of a live stream. How hard would it be for ALL paid subscribers to receive a Email prior to a live stream an hour or so before showtime????
That’s “I heard the test”.... not text!!
....... OR.... maybe run the show the day after on Hearse Theatre so those of us who missed it could at least see it once!
Peace
It's simply awesome to see the Jolly Roger flag flying behind Neil...
long live Crazy Horse
the show is up right now. But when I forwarded to 2nd set the audio and visual are wildly out of sync. Overall a great show. Ive seen every webcast. Sundays end of show sign said See You Tomorrow, as has been stated, and we did. My only remaining bitch is that it doesnt look like Ill be able to hold the DVD in my grubby mitts such as other recent shows, before the charging on NYA (ie Fresno May 1). I would certainly love a trade if anyone can get it. I would send a SASE and blanks. You know Dan, TW and his site have never failed to tell when a stream is that night. When we have a small group of shows as like we just got we know we'll get a few streams. So every night you know a show is happening check in here 1 hour before showtime. More than likely at NYA youll see a notice also. Its not hard.
I never manage to see the "Hoarse theater" show including the winipeg stream right now
All I see is a frozen picture - no video playing
Any tips how to fix this?
I use Chrome on PC and live in Israel
thanks, Amir
It's up until 6:00 am, 2/6. Or so it says
try Firefox.
Like Dan Swan I'm not on any social media & I completely agree with the email suggestions floating around here since the streams started.
Thank you "the rider". It works on firefox!
I am floating right now.
Thanks @babbo, watched perfectly last night until the buffering started right after The Losing End. However, I am joyfully watching the rest today.
Whoa, Danger Bird, Wondering so much .
I have to say the quality is outstanding. Much thanks to DHLoveLife, the crew,
band and Neil, oh yeah, not a bad audience as well.
NYA is well worth it and appears to be my future. Can't wait to turn my grand kids on to it!
Peace and water.

Oh, I almost forgot.
Ditto Thrasher for you and Thrasherswheat.
So many years now. Great stuff.

Re-streaming is great!!! incredible sound and no problem with the screen.
Highlights for me: Distant Camera, DANGER BIRD! Wondering, F$£%UP and a fantastic Like a Hurricane. Nils gives a touch of elegance (in Wondering he is superb)
I think these guys are introducing a New Era: the Wise-Rock!!
Peace&love

Just finished watching the re-stream and enjoyed it very much. Thank you all for helping me figure it out.
Peace
@ the rider
Much better when using Firefox rather than Chrome.
Cheers mate!
Great stuff!
A day late, couldn't watch the live feed last night. But watching it and loving it right now. Thanks NYA for listening the feedback about leaving the stream up! There's more excitement watching it live...but just can't always make it.
As many others have stated, the 20 bucks in membership totally paid for themselves with the streams this past week. Pains me not to be there in person, but it really excites me to have this option.
And also want to echo Cat... thank you Thrasher for giving us all this healthy outlet to voice our thoughts and feedback! (I can't imagine Horse shoes without scotzman giving his two cents, not do I want to!)
Gonna have to try that. My chrome was underwhelming this time around
I didn't think I need to see another tired old live NY show but decided to sign up for the archives to see it anyway after listening to Harvest on a whim and being reminded that he is truly the greatest voice of our time and was blown away. He doesn't seem like he's tired of singing all his old songs like most old timers and his voice still sounds like the same old creaky man's that it was when he was 20. Truly amazing show. So glad I didn't just click over to watch some crap on Netflix. I'll always be glad that I got to appreciate him while he was alive and LIVE! Keep on Rocking in the Free World was my favourite and its message sure is fresh again.
I missed the live feed last night but am grateful for the replay. just finished viewing that and even at 1080 it was almost perfect. only stopped near the end of F'n up 3 times. else it played thru no problems. Neil's voice seemed more shakey than usual for a large part of the show but seemed to get better later. song of the night is Hurricane!
ps - hope they can replay the Sunday night show in its entirety if they got a good in-house feed?
4 live shows streamed in a week! Neil is a traveling side show on par with any
entertainer in history and is putting it out HIS way! How much fun is this?!?
Crazy Horse was a beautiful ride last night, they spit and sputtered and galloped
and hit strides they haven't before. What a trip it's been!
Was ANYONE at either show who can give us a thoughtful review????!!!!
These comments aren't thoughtful but came from my Facebook page. My wife and I had tickets for Monday night's show and were going to drive from Bismarck. I only got tickets for one show because we had been on the road for over a month and were in Pensacola on Wednesday Jan. 30 and wanted to allow at least three days to get back and allow a cushion. An approaching storm got us on the road to Winnipeg a day early, and I snagged tickets online for the Sunday night show immediately.
Here is my first post: "I’m pretty sure this world would be a better place with more Neil Young fans in it. The young couple from Edmonton with whom we shared our table at dinner last night were a perfect start. He was a rabid Neil fan who had met Neil twice—the last being just that afternoon when he staked out the concert hall to get an autograph on his 'On the Beach' vinyl album cover. To make a good day better, yesterday also happened to be his 40th birthday. As we walked to the show, he tried to convince us that we needed to reconvene in the same bar after the show. I said, 'We’re really old. We’ll have to head for bed then.'They will be back on the floor tonight so I’ll try for a photo of us together. The Burton Cummings Theater is a grand old venue with a main floor and two balconies with a capacity of just over 1,600. This was the coziest place I’ve seen Neil at ever. The merch line was long and slow so I missed the opening acoustic number 'Thrasher', but I did score another T-shirt for my collection. A woman from Minneapolis and a young man from Winnipeg chatted with me like we were old friends the entire 45 minutes we were waiting. The woman sitting behind us congratulated me as I grabbed my seat because she had given up on getting a shirt earlier due to the long line. I won’t bore you with the details but the format was a short acoustic set and then Crazy Horse joined Neil on stage. They jammed and soared as only the self-described “third best garage band in the world “ could on a frigid winter night that needed some warming up. And they most certainly did heat up the hall. I had one wish for the set list and that was 'Don’t Be Denied', Young’s song about growing up in Winnipeg. As you can read in the attached story, Young and the Horse played it last night for the first time since 1997. The show ended much too soon after almost two hours. We floated through the snow back to our campsite. Waiting for the elevator we talked to a silver ponytail who had attended three of the four shows in Minneapolis last week. He said he had seen Neil about 20 times, and this was the second best show of all he had seen. We’re excited for tonight’s show and really happy that the weather got us up here a day early. I’m hoping for an even better show tonight as Young has really been mixing up the set lists on this little winter tour.

Here’s the second post: "We're home safe again after the last leg of this long winter road trip. In my view, last night's show certainly had the stronger of the two setlists. The acoustic half hour was very similar with the exception of the opener 'Out on the Weekend' replacing 'Thrasher' and 'War of Man' and 'Don't Let It Bring You Down' taking the place of 'Heart of Gold'. The electric Crazy Horse set was mostly revamped retaining only 'Winterlong, 'Cortez the Killer' and 'My My, Hey Hey Hey (Into the Black)'. I'm with Pancho, Crazy Horse's guitar player who is replaced by Nils Lofgren on this tour, in that I don't need to hear 'Cinnamon Girl' every time I see Neil live. (I remarked to Linda that this has to be the first show we've ever seen without 'Heart of Gold' and 'Cinnamon Girl'. I checked my list and these were our sixth shows to see Crazy Horse, and the thirteenth total Neil shows not counting the two times we've seen CSNY.) The Centennial Concert Hall was a larger venue than the previous night--2,600 vs. 1,600 and some of the intimacy of the first night wasn't there. I had to nitpick to find a problem with Neil's singing on the electric opener 'Rockin' In The Free World', and I thought that his electric guitar Old Black was lost in the mix in a couple of places in the show. But, damn! That was a fun two nights of music. (The attached link provides more details about the show if you care.) PS The three photos are a tour of the stage before a Neil show. The set at the start is a mix of an acoustic show and an electric show. In the first photo you can see the tie-dyed grand piano, the huge Crazy Horse banner and the circle of acoustic guitars and one banjo that disappear after the acoustic set. In the second photo, you can see (left to right) the old pump organ (that wasn't used either night), the ring of acoustic guitars, the Love light, the White Falcon Gretch guitar and the wooden Indian. The final photo shows the Danger Bird organ suspended high above the stage. It's up there every time Neil and the Horse play, but I've only seen it come down for 'Like a Hurricane'. It came down last night for the encore. And, maybe my personal highlight, they played 'Danger Bird'."

These are incredibly thoughtful. Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed this!
This is a longshot but did anyone manage to save/rip either the video or even just the audio? I was at the second show with my dad and would love to share it with him. I missed that it was up for streaming after for a limited time and now it's gone.
Don't worry about trying to get a bootleg of the show dude! Neil will officially release on limited edition vinyl in about 40 years!!! If you want to be a fan you have to have a LOT of patience!
