If Neil needs his batteries re-charged, thats fine with me. This is what Neil has done his entire career and is what keeps his delivering the goods. We all need a vacation...a distraction sometimes.
In the hallways of the ages, on the road to history,
What we do now will always be with us.

Since Neil allways does the unexpected... imagine... we get a Stills-Young Band reunion tour in 2010... off course with 10 new songs.
Anyway, did you ever see an electric car on the road? A real one, like good old Linc Volt?
In the morning of 09-09-2009 I was on on the way to the local record store. Riding a bicycle. Yes. Somewhere half way there was this car next to me. Zooming and producing only the sound of the tires.
It was amazing. I never experienced this before and had to think about old Neil and Linc Volt. Now I really understand what he is working on. Simply amazing. And clean too.
Have to confess that I never liked the idea of a car without sound. Allways had the idea that my old car without V8 sounds like Neil without Old Black. Which is 100% true. But then again the impact of an electric car is overwhelming. Think about it.

thanks for asking. Yes, I'm still around. No, I haven't received the LincVolt Jacket yet. I waited for a long time, but then I got tired of waiting and two or three weeks ago I wrote two mails to ShakeyPix and asked if the jacket was on it's way to Germany.
But nobody has answered me so far...

Contest guy has answered now and wrote, that he didn't check this email. Then he asked what size I would like to have.
I wrote back this morning and was so keen to ask for a LV cap too - or maybe two or three - for my German Neil-friends......
hope I didn't ask for too much here.....

Dr. Dip, thank you for your sensitive comment. The very sharp pain of the first weeks after the loss has become a bit milder. But it is still not easy and often a struggle to live this new life without Michael. Last Thursday he would have turned 53, that was not an easy day. But friends came to visit, that helped.
And yes, of course, Neil's music helps too.....

Stay strong Liza, I lost my hubby just over 2 yrs ago and believe me hurt does fade away with time. Keep on rockin and hold on to happy memories of the days that used to be.

Hi Neil and LV team,
hi Thrasher, hi Neil-Community,
just this weekend I visited Liza with my Neil-friend Albert.
We had a great time together.
Liza showed us all the places where she and her late husband
Michael shot the video for the JM contest. Of course, we felt Michael
was with us all the time.
While we were hiking through the vineyards, we were wondering when the
jacket would be with Liza. This afternoon I got the mail with the big
news. Liza was very happy and excited about the jacket and mailed some
first fotos.
I called her, to tell her that I was so happy for her. I really liked
Michael a lot. Therefore I want to thank all of you for making it
possible, that this jacket is such a special memory
of Michael.
