Pegi Young Interview
From Undercover interview with Pegi Young by Paul Cashmere:
Undercover: When you went into the studio to record this record did you treat it like work and if it were work when you came home was that something that you and Neil would put aside and not talk about?
Pegi Young: I definitely treated it like, I don't know if work is the right word, I treated it very seriously. I wanted to do a good job, be productive and we were. That is the magic in recording. You can't predict what is going to happen. I always engineered it to happen around the full moon which is something I had clearly gotten from Neil. It worked so well for him I thought 'why not'. Sometimes when we would come home we would talk about things but not much. We would leave the studio and come back here. The family is here and we would go into our other mode. I definitely did not take this frivolously. I felt committed to doing the best job that I could do. With those musicians I just wanted to get close to deliver my part as good as they could do there's."

Hi!
first of all, pardon my english.I'd like to have your opinion on the Powderfinger lyrics;I don't think the kid gets shot at the end,I think he had the responsability to take care of his mother while his father's away,he sees strangers coming,he's scared,he grabs the riffle, shoots and gets a life sentence for murder.I think it makes more sense than Jimmy's McDonnut's version. What do you think?

re "Powderfinger":
No, he's dead.
But this has nothing to do with the Pegi Young quote. I only wanted someone to correct the incorrect "there's" to "their's". Spell check can be useless.
Tom
He thinks all those things about missing his girl and going too early in that split second before death. He sees black. He's dead. Poor bastard.
my belated take on the Pegi Young brouhaha...if you like her Music, then it's good stuff...if ya don't then it stinks...same for her singing...Neil's guitar playing may be "bad" but I like it...oops,there goes my philosophy...oh well...
I saw Pegi and her band at Late Night with Conan O'Brien on NBC. But Neil didn't join. I expected Pegi's interview, but no interview available at the program.
I think that Pegi Young is doing a great job singing on her new C.D. She has always been a great singer for Neil as back-up. Rock on Pegi. I'm a fan of you and your husband Neil. Erika Casanova
