Neil Young - Living With War - Living With War 2026 (Official Video)
Released in 2006, Neil Young's album Living With War was a direct confrontation of the need for a call to action.
Once completed, Neil played the album for his label Reprise and than immediately gave a live interview to CNN. For many fans, this was Neil at his finest -- speaking truth to power.

Living With War was a great message and tour with CSNY. As for songs, I think the 1st 3 songs were good and the rest were not so great as far as quality of songwriting. But I guess that was not as important as the message itself.
There will be patron video call tomorrow. Hopefully there'll be someone to summarize the outcome here on TW.

Driving home from Rhode Island, we listened to the whole album (the original) and loved it, especially "Roger and Out"-
Further proof music is indeed subjective. I prefer LWW âIn the Beginningâ to the original release.
To my ears the stripped down sound works better than the overly produced (imo) sound.
But I absolutely loved the âFreedom of Speechâ tour w/CSN & the accompanying filmed documentary versions of LWW. Another time, another Republicant, another war.

Asked about a release of the LWW remix currently rolled out on NYA the man himself during a video call for patrons declined any intention to go beyond the NYA and release a tangible version. Questions by the patrons included "Canary", "Homefires", "Electric Judy", also recordings of the 1993 European Tour with Booker T. & the MGs were mentioned. Neil Young described how he ended up with songs on his new album that originated in the 60's. There were a lot of prominent grains, rusties and zumans online who are more apt to summarize what had been said than me, so who's gonna stand up?
