Excellent. Mine's not arrived yet but I knew he'd deliver. The Tuscaloosa litho signed by Joel took an age to turn up separately and assumed (trusted) it would be the same in this case. I've been enjoying the book in NYA II greatly. It's a beautiful thing and the detail in the back of it is fascinating. Interestingly, the book cover for second run of NYA II does not appear to be the same faux-vintage style and so, together with the "II" on the box and this certificate, there are some distinctive differences between the two versions. I think we can all be happy with how NYA II turned out. It took a while, but we got there in the end.
We received our certificate a couple days ago. Very cool that Neil took the time to sign each one by hand. I slid it within the beautiful book along with the outer sticker that was on the outside of the shrink wrap. I lovely keepsake to be sure. Thanks Neil, can’t wait for Volume Three.
Peace 🙏
Hi all, I haven't been keeping up to date on this. I received my copy of the first phase of Archives volume II back in late November and I've been enjoying it ever since. I wasn't aware of a certificate of authenticity signed by Neil. Is this something that everyone will receive, or did you have to request it, or buy at a different price point etc...?
Thanks.
Definitely a printed signature. They did use a different ink, though, with a little gloss (and heat it looks like to me). That took a separate run through the press. Without them being numbered and matching a number on the product, it is a pretty much a token thing with not teeth. One of 3000..... probably, maybe. It is a nice litte card, though.
Current huge discount on the reissue Archives II boxset https://www.importcds.com/neil-young-archives-vol-ii-1972-1976/093624926214
@ Aer : Even if it isn’t his actual signature, it’s still a nice touch.
@ Tom : Yes you will receive a certificate of authenticity. All 3000 limited edition buyers will receive one. Hang in there, it’s on its way, as long as you purchased it from the Greedy Hand. If you bought it from a third party, they will receive the letter, and if they have any integrity at all, they’ll send it to you. 🤞
Peace 🙏
Well I have not received the certificate and am still waiting to be able to access the Archives with my free one year membership granted to all those buying the Archives Vol II box set. Was asked for an updated e-mail address five weeks ago so the 'team' could look into it, but not heard anything since. Very poor nearly 4 months after paying for the box with the years free subscription. Wonder if the year will start from my access date or if I will lose two-thirds of what I have paid for?
I've not got my certificate yet either (UK). I gave up on the years subscription after much effort to eventually get the downloads.
Ordered Rust Bucket through my local store instead, and it's there to pick up tomorrow. Sad thing is I've been driven back to Warners/Greedy Hand for the Young Shakespere DVD, as I don't want the box set of that one.
@ Matthew Hart. any sign yet of your certificate ? I'm in the UK and received zilch so far ! been in touch with Greedy Hand a couple of weeks ago but as somebody I can't recall sang 'you pay for this and they give you that' customer service is, from them, a Piece of CRAP !!! but they can manage to email me offers for the cd version of Archives 2, like I need it. Wouldn't dream of selling it but hey when I'm not around and my pyramid full, it may not be a keeper for whoever gets it and having All the paperwork may help them sell it ......

I'm in the U.K. no certificate here and no years subscription despite my constant badgering. I get a response about every three weeks saying I have not responded to their e-mails. Utter rot. We were sold a pup and they will not admit it, having waited weeks for the eventual U.K. orders of Archives Vol. II to arrive, no free years subscription forthcoming. Surely some refund should be coming out way? Music is great, business is rotten to the core, sadly.
Couldn't agree more, from an outlet who represents a man and artist who wants to make the world a better place, XL Pipeline, Oilsands Debate and Linc Volt, music quality better, Pono and NYA Streaming and lots of other great causes .... Louisiana Oil Disaster, First Nation Issues etc etc etc yet the customer affairs side is rubbish, whether this is down to there being no Elliot to sheer the ship or big business forgetting that as well as fans we are spending customers, who knows ! .......... And the music is still GREAT Lol
I am pleased to announce that my Certificate of Authenticity arrived here in the U.K. today. It was posted in California on 29th January, so took six and a half weeks to get here, but Neil has fulfilled the promise that those original buyers of Volume II would receive this.
Hey Hey, My My, still time for me to get mine then before Archives 3 hits the streets then ! Thanks G-Man for keeping me informed
Received mine in Northern Ireland today signed by Neil a nice touch snd a nice addition to the Box set
Must have one person sending them out one at a time ! Still waiting here (yawn) Thanks very much for updating me .
I have received my Certificate of Authenticity in Japan today.
I inquired to the Neil Young Store in the middle of last month (April), then they replied that they would send a replacement to me.
