Comes a time, surfer Joe, welfare mothers, ektin
I think you guys went home one show too early,,, Great show with Neil playing the audience...
Yeah this was a GREAT show! Third time seeing Neil, first time with the Horse for me and WOW! You could see the guys were really having fun on stage, Neil laughing a lot. It seems like Surfer Joe and Welfare Mothers were added on the spot cause they were trying to remember those songs and learning the parts on stage. A lot of extended jams, Walk Like a Giant seemed really long, with a long noise section. They played about 30 - 40 minutes longer than planned too.
Let's hope they keep changing it up now!
14th time I saw Neil, only 4 times with the Horse. Well, you can say that the Horse is getiing old, but once out of the stable : "Hold on to your neighbour, man !!".
This was a f*** stampede.
Never saw them this good.
Never saw them having so much fun
Never saw them play the audience that much.
No LAH, but "out of the blue", after Fuckin' up, Surfer Joe, which started with a giant ......fuck up. :-)
But : big grin, Neil at the mic : "They fucked it up"
Poncho : "We fucked it up ????" with a big laugh...
Then Welfare mothers..
And as encores : first EKTIN, then Roll another number, with Neil hoping we would get home safe, hoping to see us somewhere on the road...
Seemed as if he was saying farewell..
Hope not, cause tonight Crazy Horse played a legendary Belgian Gig.
Loved the storm of feedback at the end of Walk like a Giant, Comes a time always cheers me up, Ramada Inn is such a deepfelt beauty, etc, etc...
Too many highlits for this fan.
Thank You Mister Young.
Thank You Mister Talbot
Thank You Mister Molina
Thank You Mister Sampedro
Unbelievable!!! Did this really happen?
Just returned from what I perceived to be the best concert EVER. Period. From the first note of Love and Only Love, it was clear that the atmosphere was electrified. The audience into all the songs, shouting, dancing. The extended versions of all songs and then even further extended.
I'm afraid I can't sleep tonight; way too much adrenalin. Wow, wow, wow...
Disappointing concert!
The numbers he played were way to long! Above he didn' t play any classic like 'Heart of gold', 'Harvest', ...
Ok he played some of his nice new songs but expected to get something better.
I so Neil for the first time life and "The Horse, whaa!!! man what a Great show it was ,looked like they were realy havin fun and they were smiling the whole time this was the greatest night of my life! And it seemed they liked the Belgien audiance too,and I was a bit sad when it finished but it was a great and wonderful experience in my life! Thanks gyes.hope to see you again some day...Thanks Neil!!! Monda.
@anonymous (disappointing concert)
You're absolutely right. He played no classics ? Wake up bro
-Love an only Love
-Powderfinger
-Comes a Time
-Cinnamon Girl
-Mr Soul
-Everybody knows this is nowhere
-Roll another Number.
Maybe you only wanted to hear the accoustic things ? Too bad, better preparation needed. It was clearly announced as a Crazy Horse concert, knowing that, you must know what to expect. And he gave the real fans what they expected, and even much more. It was a tremendous concert.
I can understand the guy... If you're a casual fan, haven't heard the new album and this is your first time seeing him, I get the setlist could be dissapointing. This was a show for the hardcore fans and I loved every minute of it!
I saw Neil and Crazy Horse in Amsterdam on the 5th and yesterday again in Brussels. To be honest: the gig in Brussels was much stronger: they made a lot of fun together and Neil his guitar play was brilliant. Also the public seemed to be much more enthused then in Amsterdam. This was a really magic evening. For the first time I heard him 'Surfer Joe' life! Thank you so much mister Neil and Crazy Horse!
Relive that Magic right now on Rust Radio !!!!
And don't forget : CRANK UP THAT VOLUME !!!!
Seventh time NY live and still impressed! Unbelievable how much energy, passion, anger and ... fun this man of 67 showed on stage! And after all those years the electrified massive wall of sound of Crazy Horse still stands as a unique monument!
One highlight followed the other in a career spanning set for long time diehard fans, who seemed to be in large numbers in Brussels. Maybe that's why they played 17 number for the first time this tour?
Again a wonderful night, glad to be there!
Thx guys & keep on rockin'! ;-)

lets all agree to IGNORE because its obviously someone with too much time on their hands and a warped agenda ... reacting to it fans the flames, ignoring it starves the person of the attention they crave and they'll hopefully find somewhere else to hang out ...
Looks like Neil and the boys are on fire again! can't wait for the fall shows!!!
I was there yesterday, it was heavenly 17 songs long with beautiful gems in it and a lot of energy and pleasure on stage that hit the audience in the heart. It even seemd at the end that there would be a second encore but helas..i never forget that moment...stil i wil be at two more concerts yeah..Cologne and Pukkelpop. Neil you are still the man.
Well, I'm 58 and I don't think I've ever been to a better gig.
Neil and the Horse were on great form and there was just so much good stuff. It was ALL good stuff.
Neil's "farewell take care" message makes me think we might not see another tour with Neil and Crazy Horse together, or maybe not on such a punishing scale. Seeing them in Glasgow on Thursday and Dublin next Saturday, just in case. If they're even half as good, they'll still be great.
I would happily go to see an acoustic Neil gig, but anyone who went expecting that, really ought have checked out his latest album before shelling out for tickets...
Neil is still good BECAUSE he doesn't stand still. "Too much of that old stuff will kill you" he said somewhere. And he's right.
An amazing setlist delivered with great energy to an audience who got what they needed.
4th time i saw Neil Young performing and this was best ever. What an artist and what a band...great songs, great perforance and a great band. You can see they do this with heart and soul, enjoying it and they are a happy family on stage. Thanks mister Neil and thanks Crazy Horse
So, so stoked! Only a few hours to the Newcastle gig tonight, and it sounds like the Horse are hitting their stride!
Don't spook the horse!
Off to Newcastle, Birmingham, Glasgow and Liverpool. Tonight's my 15th show and my 6th with Crazy Horse.
Off to the Rust Fest at the Bridge Hotel before the gig, going to be an amazing show. Been too long since my list Neil gig in 2009.
This show was way better than Amsterdam. Two big differences: no tech problems, which really must have been the cause why they didn't lift off after the brutally LAOL... In Bruxelles they went right into orbit from there on, only to land after EKTIN.
Other big difference (at least to me) was the much more enthusiastic crowd (but standing at the rail in Amsterdam did not give me a good view on the audience).
Anyway, I attended both and what surprises me is that in Amsterdam I really wasn't that excited during the second half (HHMM, Mr. Soul, FU) while in Bruxelles I most certainly loved these songs (not to forget Surfer Joe and Welfare of course!). Ramada Inn played LONG and furious, and seeing Poncho enjoying this song IMMENSELY made also a big difference...
Saw Neil in Birmingham earlier this week - great energy, great gig, but he & CH stood on stage waving for a LOOOOOOOOONG time at the end.....then for a bit longer still. It looked like a farewell to be honest, so made me question if he'll tour again.
