To say that 2009 here at Thrasher's Wheat have been extraordinary would be a mild understatement.

Our conversations with Archives Guy surrounding the release of the Neil Young Archives Volume #1 have been fascinating, insightful and illuminating. The recent tours in Australia, Canada/US, and Europe have been richly rewarding with new and old songs. And we had Sir Paul McCartney encore with Neil for a stunning "A Day in the Life" in Hyde Park, London -- the penultimate concert on the Never Ending Tour.

And then we had the "Harvest Moon" stories happen:

It is truly these moments that really make what we do here so emotionally rewarding and satisfying to be part of the global Neil village.

Heck, even Thrashette & I got treated to a full broom edition of "Harvest Moon" at the Bridge School Benefit concerts.

Here at TW we're not just non-commercial. We're anti-commercial. We feel that quality blogs and advertising just cannot co-exist. We also choose to refrain from forcibly extracting money from you by charging subscription fees. We leave it up to you to decide what our service is worth to you.
