Jim Jarmusch, Bob Mould, Bradford Cox & No Age Cover "Cortez the Killer"
From Pitchfork: TV, a mashed up semi-cover by the "super group" Jim Jarmusch, Bob Mould, Bradford Cox & No Age of Neil Young's "Cortez the Killer".
And this vid is rather tough to figure out what's going on. But if you stick with it, this is basically some hotel room rehearsals for ATP (All Tomorrow's Parties). Fast forward to about 4:30 to cut to the chase.
Thanks Kyle Ellison!
More on why Cortez was a Killer and what it might mean for indigenous people.

Hey that's a cool cover from the guys, and from the great Jim Jarmusch !
Speaking of Jim Jarmusch.I sure would like to see Year of The Horse and Dead Man come out on Blu-ray.?)

YEah that's a great idea ! Two awesome classics.
Wow! What a knockout cover, never heard Cortez sung like that before!
Thanks!

Bob Mould... far out! Husker Du was really a great band... and the Replacements. Two bands that came up together...kinda like Rivals but both awesome. Two must have records: Let It Be by the Replacements and Zen Arcade by Husker Du...Just great rock n roll!
Cant wait for Dreamin Man! Have a feeling it's gonna be a great one
Thanks for posting this great little short film. It's more than a cover version of "Cortez": it's Kutcher's Country Club, Borscht-belt travelogue, with a extra helping of "The Shining" + "Dirty Dancing".
