Shakey Continues to Clear the Garage
Last week, when Neil Young auctioned off his motorcycle, we lamented that Neil's two-wheel days were behind him and he would be settling in for the LincVolt's wheels.
Now comes word of another auction of some of Neil's stuff which will go to supporting Lincvolt development.
Now we lament that we may never see Crazy Horse play in a small club on the coast of California...
Oh well. It's for a good cause. And that's what matters.

Neil, please, if you can hear me, call the Horse !

I recall reading an interview with Neil, maybe last year, where he said he was gonna sell all his stuff and put it to work on the Lincvolt project.
In reply to this thread:
Selling off stuff in the garage has NOTHING to do with any future touring or recording plans and EVERYTHING to do with having LOTS of stuff.
Any other theories are off target speculations.
Check out that speaker system! Ya can almost smell the Horse, if ya look at the pictures long enough.

did I then misquote Neil regarding his intentions on the LV funding? I believe it was in a Rolling Stone article.
i think it's fairly pathetic that Archives Guy shows up in this forum simply hawking Neil's stuff.
really, really pathetic.
Thank you very much for that link about the bar tour 1996, it's kinda strange because i was just listening te catalyst show from May 9 at the same moment !
I just love all these shows and i share the same dream, maybe one day in a bar nearv my home.....
Looks like they are having a hard time getting rid of some of the stuff. I can see why they want to sell some of those guitars, they probably wonder why they got them in the first place.
