Halifax, Nova Scotia Concert Reviews

From Young rocks Halifax - Nova Scotia News - TheChronicleHerald.ca By STEPHEN COOKE:
"With the bulk of the younger fans cramming the open floor space in front of the stage (although a few silver heads and bald spots were visible in the mass as well), Young hit the stage in full force with Love and Only Love off 1990's Ragged Glory, soloing right off the bat in that distinctive jagged style. Singing of love's power to endure and tear down barriers, Young hunched over his black Les Paul in a paint-spattered blazer, thumbing the bass string and tearing at the higher strings with the other four fingers. For lesser bands, this would be a finale, but Young was just warming up."
Thanks rustvision!

Just back from the Halifax show. Man if your considering whether to go to the next or nearest concert on this fall 2008 tour.....GO It was sensational and I have been a fan for 30 years. The vocals and guitar work were as good or better than any recording or concert clip I have ever seen or heard. Fantastic !! Bravo Neil Young
Does anyone know what shirts Neil is selling on this leg of the tour. I went to a show last year, and I was wondering if there was anything new. Any information would be great. I am going to see him in Worcester in a few weeks. Thanks!
Awesome..cant wait for MSG 12/15!!!! Just a couple weeks!!!
Has anyone had the GA tickets? Was just wondering how it is set up? Are you PACKED In there?
Can anyone advise me of how/where to sell one ticket to MSG 12/15 at cost (face value about $250)? Other than seeing a Neil concert once a year I don't go to many concerts these days and am hoping to avoid dealing with it at the show on 12/15. Thanks for any advice.
They are selling black and white t-shirts with an imitation of a stenciled spray paint design of neil playing guitar.
This was only my second time seeing Neil live, the first was back in '03 on the Greendale tour. I was on the floor amongst the diehards and the vibe was solid. The setlist was identical to previous shows on this tour, but having seen so few non-Greendale songs live I didn't mind one bit that it had a bit of a "greatest hits" feel. But having read so many reviews of previous shows I knew which songs were coming up next, so it took a bit of the mystery out of the show.
That being said, Neil and the band were TIGHT! Rosas, Keith, Cromwell(sp?), and the backups were a delight to watch and listen to, it was especially great to see Ben wail on the peddle steel. And it was great to see Larry get in on the action during Old Man.
Personal highlights were 'Everybody knows', 'Cortez', and 'Cowgirl', with Cortez getting an extended workout from Neil and Co.
Big thanks to Neil for making the trip to the Maritimes, and for inviting one of the best opening acts (WILCO) anyone could ever have the pleasure of listening to.
