Excellent work!
Some sad news from the world of Neil Young fandom though. Pete, you will be missed.

Hey guys, this concert was in 1995 in the indoor Simmonscourt Arena in front of around 8000. I was at it and came away with a plectrum thrown out by Neil. I also took one of those “We are filming this show tonight…” posters off the wall before the gig started. So plectrum, poster, ticket and mirrorball sticker are all in the one frame. The atmosphere was electric that night. David Fallon, Ireland.
@ David : That is just so cool. What a great story. My wife and I watched the video and were both completely blown away by the intensity of the performance. It must have been incredible to actually be there and feel that. The editing techniques really fit the song and the performance. I’m not usually a fan of the fast cutting and blurred visuals but they really worked on this one. You were so fortunate to attend this show.
The only time I’ve been able to see Pearl Jam in concert was when they opened for Neil along with Blind Mellon in the early 90’s. It was outdoors at a horse race track outside of Portland Oregon on a beautiful summer afternoon and evening, and all three bands were on their A game. Thanks for sharing your experience, and I can’t wait to see this whole film when it finally gets released.
Peace 🙏
….. I checked my ticket stub and it was September 6, 1993, and admission was $26.50. Those were the days, today those tickets would be several hundred dollars or more…..
Peace 🙏
@ Mark Johnson : Thanks for the link….. very sad indeed.
Peace 🙏
@ Mark - thanks for feedback.
and yes, sad news on Pete. We read about this on NYA's LTE a little while ago and tried to do something but found that we only had a cover scan of GOTR.
maybe we can revisit w/ some more details in obit.
@ David - very cool. thanks for sharing.
would love to check out image and publish here on TW.
if you're game , send image to thrasher ATSIGN thrasherswheat.org
@ Dan - yes, the intensity is definitely palpable on this one.
Unfortunately really didn't get a chance to fully immerse before rolled off.
like you say, can’t wait for film & album release.
