Neil Young Announces "MORE RELEASES coming in DVD / BLU-RAY" | NYA
Maybe not the best news all day for some out there -- but definitely good news for all rusties -- Neil Young has announced that "more releases are coming in DVD / BLU-RAY formats per Times-Contrarian | Neil Young Archives.
'WAY DOWN IN THE RUST BUCKET', ‘YOUNG SHAKESPEARE’ and ‘THE TIMES’ DVDs will also be offered exclusively on NYA. Release dates are TBD.
More on the upcoming "WAY DOWN IN THE RUST BUCKET" by Neil Young w/ Crazy Horse Release Date: February 26, 2021.

I'm not convinced that "exclusively to NYA/Greedy Hand" is what I want to be hearing when it comes to future releases – I'm still waiting for my Archives 2!!

This is great that more music is being made available. This is nice gift from Neil.
Yet I am also questioning the "exclusively to NYA/Greedy Hand" feature announced. How can Neil accept to do this when their delivery service is so unreliable?
He received a lot of complaints from his fans so he should be aware. I do not want him apologize again for the bad service, but he is supporting this situation. He should have learnt from the Archives Vol. II issue.
Personally, I was not impatient to get the NY Archives Vol. II, limited edition that I was happy to buy in October. And I was not as negative as some people wrote in this blog, as long I could get my box set.
But enough is enough: I am still awaiting the delivery of my order. More than two months and the Greedy Hand Store will not check before the upper delivery limit of two months is reached :-(
I must wait for 5 more days before I can complain... Yet they got my money on October 18, 2020.
Since then, I have just bought "RTG Deluxe Edition" in a store in Paris, France in 5 minutes , significantly cheaper than on GHS. If I had used GHS, it would not have even been shipped by now.
I thus think that there is a big issue there, because I won't order from GHS again, until they have a decent service, no matter the discount I am supposed to get, as a subscriber. Maybe this is acceptable for US rusties, but for Europe, definitely not. Warner might be good for Music production but cannot compare to the many web companies that can ship from China or USA to Europe in less than a week.
I would urge Neil to at least impose that all materials be available elsewhere, from local stores to Amazon or similar. Ordering through GHS would be still possible with the discount for subscribers.
Music is love, in the end...

A question to everybody who owns the answer

"Purchasers of Way Down In The Rust Bucket from the Greedy Hand Store will also receive free hi-res digital audio downloads from the Xstream Store © at NYA."
what is unclear to me is if the digital download will include Cowgirl (not in the CD nor in the vynil version) or not...

@Roberto: On Amazon, Cowgirl is not available for mp3 downloading. So I expect Cowgirl won't be sold in Hi-Res.
Beside that, flood of outtakes on NYA (see News this week link on front page). Including an amazing Tonight's The Night and unereleased Barefoot Floors... (And I Think "Highschool Graduation" from Buffalo Springfield era - not sure it's never heard).
Great but why not on Archives 2 ??? Grrr...
This Tonight's the Night outtake is a blast. Just Neil, Ralph and Greg Reeves. It's somehow funky and ragged.
