These are really funny! My favourite: CSNS or OPL
Feelin' the Bern!
~SONY
I heard he left the band when Nash rejected his song Our Senate and replaced it with his own, Our House. Then a new Young..er member joined which further outraged him. That's why Sanders is sulking.
I am a huge Bernie Sanders fan. The memes were funny but it would be great if everyone who shared them would stand up and demand Progressive change in their Government. But maybe I am being too serious! Ha ha! Biden stopping Keystone XL Pipelilne is a great step, and rejoining the Paris Climate Accord. He is doing more than I expected him to do, to be honest. And if he pushes Green Energy, that is really something.
So Thrasher, aside from maybe Thrashette, who is it that is telling you to take a step back and chill? I assume the group of people you mention are some of them. Is this in relation to Fork in the Road somehow? Now I am feeling informed / uninformed, etc. :-)
I am listening to Barefoot Floors over and over again and some other similarly located songs from NYA2. What a great song!
Still just thrilled to the core about Neil giving us all these tunes. I personally never did take advantage of the BD Live material on Archives 1. I had some sort of problem using the BD Live feature. And now the songs have come along anyway, and I could not be more stoked.
I am pretty impressed with Neil's earliest work and his stuff from Buffalo Springfield. He was under-appreciated by that band, apparently. It is very interesting to listen to some of the tracks as they evolved over the years. Some of these songs got polilshed into diamonds after starting out not nearly as great.

@ Dionys - ok and if you see others, please feel free to submit.
@ SONY - oh yeah!
@ Andrew - kind of amazing the level of viralness on this Bernie meme. went global almost instantly. it's like its not organic growth or something? probably nothing. just folks having fun like us here @TW.
@ Alan - regarding the chill out.
actually, mainly t-ette, we'd admit. we've been going 25 years now. pretty much last 20 everyday.
as rewarding as TW is, it can be an exhausting grind at times. although it's been awhile now since peak TW, things around here have actually really never been better in many respects.
but last year 2020 was very hard as we all know. CV19, big city riots, burning & looting, Big Brother brutality, defund police, anarchy, fascism, clampdowns, lockdowns, checkpoints, temperature checks, shredding of Bill of Rights, etc.
2020 was pretty grim. like 2001, we eventually bounced back and were stronger than ever.
likewise, we'll bounce back from 2020 stronger than ever, we imagine, hope, believe, will to make reality.
well, anyways, this Friday Fun was a healthy distraction that we'll try and bring more of here @ TW in 2021 !
peace & love
I can definitely understand the difficulty and weight of the many withering things we have had to withstand in 2020! And as Abner knows, it’s a lot easier for us white guys who have the privilege to do as we please, more or less. To get pulled over and not wonder if we are about to die because of some trigger happy cop with the law on his side and zero accountability! To have a president who blames Antifa immediately every time, despite zero evidence. Just so long as his people evade blame, all his people in white hoods, his precious Nazi’s. Excuse me while I vomit once again as I look in he rear view mirror at 2020! I feel so fortunate that I get to hit your page pretty much every day and enjoy yet another creative essay on topics we enjoy. You continue to amuse us, to entertain us, to provoke critical thinking, to help us prepare for the Big Shift (which I am still trying to get my head around!). To help us celebrate and know the unknowable, perhaps. To appreciate on group level a music artist so impressive, so interesting, so confounding to his fans. An artist who found himself in the middle of the road in’72 and got bored there, so he headed for the ditch! And just when we think we’ve got him figured out enough to know his unpredictability, the “Trilogy” is revealed to be a quadrilogy! And then to have our constructs dashed again as he throws us 61 more songs. I dare any of us to say we have it all figured out! It makes me laugh, in happy gratitude!
Your seemingly tireless dedication and creativity is to be celebrated! Thank you so much for your ceaseless dedication. If it was any other artist I would tell you to quit! But it isn’t any other artist! It’s or own shape shifter, Neil Young. A mortal man who hurls lightning bolts with his axe!
Keep on Truckin’, my man! Thanks to Thrashette for putting up with it all, all of us, and supporting you and encouraging you. For gently pulling you back from the shores of the pure pond from which we drink! Our thrust can never be fully quenched, but for God’s sake, it’s not Heroin we are addicted to. We are just Uber fans, and the kind that aren’t scary! Even tho my car once broke down in Neil’s driveway, we are just NOT the stalker type! All we want is for the Old Man to live on and continue sharing his Art! And Thank You So Much for giving us this platform to return to. If NYA is a trip to Mars, Thrasher’s Wheat is the Moon base, a staging area. My ridiculous analogy is meant to provoke laughter! We are forever Earth based. We have our feet in the dirt. We are farmers who do a little hunting and gathering. We don’t burn too much fossil fuel. We like Organic food. We like Green Power, and saving Mother Earth. We stand with the Standing Rock Sioux with Neil and Willie. We support family farms! (My old Uncles are still family farming in Minnesota, not far from where Neil and Bob grew up!).
Have a great day, all of y’all!
Now it’s back to NYA for me as I work on a self improvement project. With any luck it will continue for a good long lifetime. Health and Happiness and a really good soundtrack, family, grandkids someday, who will hear Ohio & Southern Man when shortly after learning to walk. I salute you. “Good on ya!” as they say in Australia.

My lastest typing / grammar errors: 51 tracks added to NYA, not 61. And it is our Thirst that can never be quenched, not our “thrust.” We’re not fencing after all! I don’t even HAVE a sword!
