Curious to see if there will any significant changes to the set list.
I have it on good authority that they will be playing the entire "Harvest" album, followed by selections from other AOR classics.
It really annoys me that they don't play anything from my favourite 'Horse' era, i.e. "Landing on Water". I mean wtf. Omg.

I absolutely love Crazy Horse - this isn't a slam on them at all. But I think the 2007-2009 tour with Ben & Rick & Ralphie/Chad is really going to be tough to top. I mean just go back and look at the setlists. Good grief we got half solo Neil and half electric. We got Ambulance Blues every night! The 5+ night stand at the United Palace Theater in New York!
I truly believe Neil is sitting on Trunk Show because he knows what a gem it is...
Anyway - of course this next leg with the Horse will be great - because it's Neil & the Horse...duh. But I guess I'm just nostalgic for the songs I know we won't hear again live without Ben.
If I could ask for one change it'd be for Down By The River to come in as a replacement for another long song
Very cool Anonymous at 1:27 pm. I was at one of the United Palace Theatre shows (not the one with the delay) and I agree it was awesome. A crazy set list, and Ambulance Blues was a treat. Keep looking for Trunk Show.
But I was also able to catch the current tour twice while in New York. Playing this way with Crazy Horse just takes it to a different place. I plan to be on the floor at the Capitol Theatre in September. Wouldn't mind seeing some diversity in the set list, but would even be ok with the exact same show. Would be disappointed if no Ramada Inn, which ranks up there among my best ever live. I'd take DBTR over most anything else, including WLAG. Given that he repeated Roll Another Number at both New York shows, would not be unhappy to see that go (although it pains me to write that given some paranoid fear that if for whatever reason Neil reads this stuff, that could be a sure fire way to have it played again).
Neil and the Horse in the USA this fall? Whadaya think?. I would like to see Ramada Inn live, down in the newspapers please.
The '07 theatre shows were a total gift ... I saw some of the United Palace Shows ... pure joy ... the whole thing, set lists, electric/acoustic, venue , and I would also highlight the CDII material which he played brilliantly during that tour... I think the current set up w the Horse is not better or worse, just different and equally fantastic (although hard to argue the venues are better although I think Cap Theatre Portchester addresses that) ... on the current tour the Ragged Glory material is epic, as is that from PP which they play magnificently, songs like 'Danger Bird', ect... are in my view just as rare and great as what he played in '07 ... but can't disagree that losing Ben is really sad and he's irreplaceable and we might have seen the last of some songs, although I doubt it ... Neil always adapts
Oh come on - is that discussing and complaining about setlists starting all over again - even before the next leg of the tour has started?
Once there was a time - and it's not as long ago as one might think - when we went to a concert without any knowledge about setlists from the concerts already done on that tour. And - you won't believe it - : It was absolutely fine. We enjoyed what we got just right away when it happened and we took it like an unexpected gift and kept the memory in our hearts and minds.
I'm not complaining about a setlist.
Come what may… as long it's Neil and the Horse.
I'm about to jump in my car to head to Luxemburg for my second gig this tour.
It's a lovely day!
Look, if a beautiful woman wants to have sex with me, I wouldn't call it complaining by merely pointing out how cool it would be if she brought a friend :)
I don't really see anyone complaining about set lists, just what song(s) they would love to hear.
With that said, whether they are played or not, I don't find " Singer without a Song" and "Hole in the Sky" the least bit interesting musically. They would be pee break songs for me.
I Would Love If They Started The Alchemy Shows With A Twenty Minute Version OF DBTR.The Loner Would Be Cool, Or WHen You Dance I Can Really Love. Keep On Rockin'
Do we know if there is a support act/ who it is for the French dates?
Going to Vienne and am counting down the days until my 4th helping this year!
About opening act for the French tour: as far as I know, Patti Smith is playing on the Nimes date (07/19), don't know about Vienne.
