Last week, we had the debut broadcast of Thrasher's Wheat Radio.
And we're quite delighted by the nice feedback we received on the maiden voyage of terrestrial streaming of TWR. Thanks for all the support. It's appreciated.
Tonight, Saturday, August 25 at 9:00 PM EST, (in about 15 minutes) the Thrashers Wheat Radio Hour will begin streaming on WBKM.org.
Feedback will be back and we'll ride the rusty human highway to bring you the best Neil Young news and reviews, rumors and musings....plus rare and unreleased tracks that will help keep you rockin' in the free world.
Thrashers Wheat Radio Hour is presented and produced each week by WBKM.org in the heart of Burlington, Vermont.
Some suggestions for listening. Go to WBKM.org a few minutes before the broadcast/stream begins. In the upper right hand corner (the flower) click to launch. A small plugin applet will load and then launch your media player.
Apple MAC listeners - Use the Tune In Radio app in iTunes store.
If you have technical problems, either email wbkm@comcast.net or comment below.
We would definitely like your feedback on the program. Drop us a comment.
Also, a podcast will be posted soon after broadcast @ PODCAST: Thrasher's Wheat Radio Hour.
In the meantime, here's our rockin' little promo:
Thanks again to Eric & Tony at WBKM.org for making this happen. It's been a long time coming and we hope this all works out.
And, in case you're wonderin', this is something totally different from the essential & legendary Rust Radio.
Don't Be Denied.

Pretty outstanding hour, great job! Missing Ben Keith listening to "Only A Dream".

Is there a way to listen to this on an iPad?
Great way to start a Monday.
Thanks again
Sorry to post this here but not sure where else to do so: Neil is on the front page of Reddit right now. Was going to post this yesterday but figured it would be gone soon but it's still there. It's the BBC video for Heart of Gold. Lots of great comments.

Just finished lisitining to both hours. Good stuff!. Just a little confused though. What exactly makes this Thrasher's Wheat Radio Hour. To be honest I was expecting Thrasher himself to host it. I'm Assuming Thrasher picks the Play List? Anyway keep up the good work.

Good stuff. But Eric, please use a pop filter on your microphone. Very simple, you can even make one with a coat hanger and a nylon, but makes a real difference in how you sound.
