Great
The mystery of what happened to Larry Cragg is he's been farmed out to Neil Young's Wife and the Survivors. Massive waste.
Neil did seem to be having some guitar issues at Tahoe. i hope he brings Larry back.
Wow this really seems to be a sore spot with you guys, huh?! But you know what: the band known as Pegi Young and The Survivors will also be playing at Farm Aid 2012, so maybe if you ask real nice Larry will tune up Old Black just for you! And if you go, maybe listen to a song or two from Pegi and some of the other openers...very enjoyable if you take a chance.

Why a "Massive waste"?
Maybe Larry wanted to play a few tunes every night? Maybe something different for him? Something less stressful and more fun for him?
Sometimes the best thing for everyone is the best thing for everyone.
peace

He's gone...it really is a drag
Maybe he flies another Flag
Love to trust my gear to

Yea, I bet Pegi is a bit easier to work with than Neil. i somehow doubt she has THE GLARE :)
just sayin'
No matter what, Ol' Black will outlive them all... I just hope that it's not in a glass case at some Hard Rock Cafe...

I for one have heard Neil's wife open for him and that was torture. Pleasant was the farthest thing from my mind. Also heard the latest cd. No mas.
I don't know that this is the best thing for everyone. Pegi certainly does need all the help she can get and Larry's a very versatile guy. But I don't think that's necessarily the best thing for Neil's music, which is far and away the main event, after all. I don't give a flying fig about pegi's attempts at music, but I absolutely want Neil to have the best people working with him. The guy's a musical phenomenon to this day. Larry goes where he's told. I don't for a minute think he'd prefer working with the wife to working with Neil. And by the way, I've seen her live and I'll take a pass on doing that again. I can't agree that she's enjoyable. Annoying is more like it. We're all allowed an honest opinion, right? Danny
Sorry if I opened up a can of worms here! I know you're all passionate fans of music (and especially Neil) and everyone has their own opinion...and we're all better for it. Thrasher puts it perfectly speaking of "the best thing for everyone". We're all just harpoon dodgers living in this great big sea, and I'd rather ride that Crazy Horse than be up on a high one. Namaste
