Tickets for Neil Young @ Red Rocks, CO go On Sale this Friday
According to Livenation.com and Ticketmaster, tickets for Neil Young at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO go on sale this Friday.
Concert dates are Sunday, Aug 5 and Monday, Aug 6.
Crazy Horse is not listed but it is hopefully assumed that they will be there as well. ;)
The Alabama Shakes will open both shows, according to promoter Live Nation’s Twitter account.
The only other announced tour dates are Neil Young & Crazy Horse To Co-headline Outside Lands 2012 Festival.

I assume the trickling out of live dates is by design to build anticipation & hype....it's working
Hopefully some LA shows. It's been since the 2007 Chrome Dreams Tour, as he cancelled, on the day of, the 2008 Continental Tour electric show and hasn't been back.
I bet the tour is announced this week. Would be nice if there was a weekend date I could drive to.
Now there is a date on Pollstar.com for him to play at the Kaufmann Center Hall in NYC June 8th. Marked only as Neil Young Show, solo tour??
that 6/8 date is the new Journeys film showing/ talk with Jonathan Demme- I'll be there!

the presale for the red rocks starts tomorrow morning. anyone know the presale password?
In the last couple weeks, the presale password for all LiveNation shows has been "saxophone". I'm not 100% on this, but fairly confident. Hope it helps!

Thank-you Neil fan for password! Got Tix's and leaving MN for the Mtns w/kids to Red Rocks show.
I was lucky enough to get 2 pairs for the Monday night show. After I got the first, I tried for another which turned out to be better. So, I'd like to get rid of the first pair for face value. 13th row, seats 105-106. Anyone interested? Ticketmaster is mailing me the tickets.
I would definitely be interested in taking them off your hands. I don;t imagine I'll be able to get any better tomorrow morning.

Wow, how easy was it to buy tickets this morning? At least if going for singles. I got Row 3, dead centre for Sunday.
Might not be able to go Monday due to work commitments ... but out of curiosity I checked, and 35 minutes after they went on sale, could still pull up Row 3, Seat 36. I actually want to try for > Row 6, so I can sell the ticket (face value) if I can't go.
Anyone have tickets for sale for either night?
