Songs for Charity: Helping Homeless Children

Want to help homeless children?

We received the following letter from Gil Michael and wanted to pass it along.

Won't you consider giving to a charity that looks after Homeless Children?

Donations are way down this year and there is a sharp rise in homelessness especially among families with children.

I recently saw a news report on CNN that was so very sad.

It was about the rise in the number of Homeless children in this country. Just seemed so wrong to me when Banks and Wall Street are getting public bail out money and then paying huge bonuses to executives. I had to do something.

Since the economy has me in a difficult position right now I decided to write a song "Child Without A Home" and donate it to charity. I contacted www.covenanthouse.org which is a national non-profit dedicated to helping homeless children. They have offices nationwide.

They accepted and are on board with this so I decided to go all out by offering my entire collection of songs to charity until 12/24/09. Hoping to send them a Christmas present this year.

You can buy any song for a $1 minimum donation (or more if you're feeling generous!) Or you can buy all 16 songs, the whole kit and kaboodle, for a $10 minimum donation (such a deal).
