Ha! Good 'ol Neil. Looks like a crazy old scarecrow with that wispy hair standing up all over the place. Did I mention that I love this guy?
Great gallery! I was at that gig. Neil´s hair was considerably longer than it was in Coburg the previous year and he didn´t wear a suit this time(although the paint splattered one was quite cool, I want one of those!). He looked really wild, and with that hair and the harmonica holders on his chest from certain angles a little like Pei Mei from Kill Bill.

At one point during Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere he had a big smile on his face.
Near the end he had his shirt hanging on one shoulder only, I think this could be new style, I tried it myself, it´s cool.

Very nice pictures. You must have been standing very few meters to the right of me.
Neil Young did smile quite a lot during this concert. When he was singing DLIBYD during the accoustic set for instance he was staring at me (no doubt about that b/c there was nobody in between) singing along, almost loosing the verse, then a quick glance at his "textbook" to the left of his feet and back to staring at me and smiling as if he had been caught cheating somehow. These intimate moments are the reason why live music is better...
i was there also (it was my 5th neil-concert). unfortunately i was pretty drunk (stupid, yes, i know!), so i can´t remember all of that show. but at least i have a recording of the concert and i bought myself a pretty nice shirt.
NEIL, PLEASE RETURN TO GERMANY OR AUSTRIA AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!! NEXT TIME I´M SOBER, I PROMISE!! :-)
