Lots of great tour photos, blogs, and videos. The blog "On The Road With A Rock Star" is a look at the life being on the road with Neil Young, band, and crew. With footage from the UK 2008 Continental Tour and continues to the present day. Each new episode is scheduled to be released every Friday and began on April 17th.
Here's quite a fascinating episode of what it's like to be on the road with Neil Young. Segment includes learning the ins and outs of bus travel, visiting fellow band member, Rick Rosas, and personal reflections on global warming.
Anthony also has a YouTube - woottoots's Channel.
From Denver Concerts Examiner: Interview with Anthony Crawford on his new record Five Is Red by Katie Brennan:
Q: You have a new CD, "Five is Red," coming out in early May of this year, has touring with Neil Young influenced "Five is Red" at all?
AC: Of course he influences me in so many ways beginning with his attention to being real. When I prepared myself for this record, I played live shows for weeks so that when I arrived to the session, I would be able to perform them with the same energy. This is how we record with Neil.
Q: Thus far, what is the defining moment in your career?
AC: Playing the guitar solo on stage with Neil Young on his classic songs, "Tonight’s the Night" and "Speakin’ Out". We were at sound check at the beginning of this Tour and he went over to the piano and started playing “Speakin’ Out” and I just stood there and listened. A few moments later, he said for me to play Nills Lofgren's part. It occurred to me then that I am one of only a few that have ever played a solo on his stage. Neil is the man when it comes to that, but hey, this makes it very easy for me to answer this question. I have been blessed to be on stage with such an icon.
