TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT LISTENING PARTY
So listening parties are all the rage these days.
Karen dropped us a note on the latest upcoming listening party for Tonight's The Night on THURSDAY APRIL 16, at 3 PM EST and again at 10 PM EST on Streamland Chat.
Yes, I am aware that the album has already been released. :)
This is simply a celebration of this fantastic album and an opportunity for fans around the world to get together and listen simultaneously and chat.
No passport, visa or airline ticket required. If you have love for this album, that’s all you need. Come on in and we’ll love it together. :)
Perhaps you were there in Canada recently when Neil played some of the TTN songs? Come and tell us about it!
Or maybe you were even THERE, for some of the ORIGINAL TTN shows, in which case, pleeeeease come on in and tell all. :)

Wow,i'll be there!One of the greatest...in fact listened to it today in a harvest/TFA/TTN back to back medley which was nice!One thing i noticed when playing
TTN;for all its roughness in playing (I'm sure we're all aware of the mythology behind it),its actually a pretty pristinely recorded album...maybe Briggs wasnt sucking down the Jose as much as the others!
Will definitely be on at the 10:00pm listening.
It's great that Karen has provided this showcase for live chat.It's complementary to the LincVolt chatroom in more ways than one.
TTN is a desert island album, as long as a case of that tequila has also washed up!

Is she going to actually play the album or have some kind of video streaming? That is what Ustream is meant for, not just a glorified chat room with people having to multitask in order to participate.
That last listening party was pretty clunky and half baked. Maybe some better pre-planning will go into this one.

but just to be clear, the streamland chat happenings have occurred organically, when it seemed that there were many of us who were still chatting together in the lincvolt chat room after lincvolt activities were long gone. since our conversations often turned to other things, out of respect for the lincvolt team and their valid point that we should be mindful of what we discuss since the LV chatroom is embedded elsewhere, i decided that rather than curtail our chats we might simply move elsewhere, and using the same platform we were in with lincvolt was simple and easy. the original idea was to just continue chatting. but things developed and voila! our listening parties were born. but ... audio and video will be provided this time. i will be spinning the black circle. if i can figure it out. ha.
