Keep on Bloggin' in the Free World
We see lots of inbound links here at Thrasher's Wheat from all sorts of sites like Dylan's Expecting Rain, or Pearl Jam's Ten Club or Wilco's Via Chicago.
And sometimes we even get the big traffic spike when we have an inbound from a major daily like when the Guardian UK links over and creates a giant uproar amongst Neil fans.
So it's always nice to check our logs and see such a well respected blog like Climate Progress link over to our recent post The Secret is Now Out: We've Got A Job To Do. And we must say it's also gratifying that Climate Progress highlighted one of our boldest observations regarding Greendale's importance.
Sorta makes us feel that we're not wasting our time here.
So, if you're in anyway interested in the future of our world's ecosystem, then you definitely want to be following blogger Joe Romm. We highly recommend the Climate Progress blog.
Thanks Joe! We intend to also keep on blogging ’til the power goes out..

Yes, you are doing a great job, Thrasher and Thrasherette - keep it up! Besides all the great up-to-the-minute Neil News, I have recently also spread some of the important eco-news that you have shared with us - Thanks!
Unemployed Americans turn to tents (ABC News) Tent cities are springing up in California as thousands of people hit hard by foreclosures and big job losses say they have nowhere else to go.
Many of those seeking shelter had good jobs and stable family lives until the economy spun out of control.
Some 300 people call a tent city in Sacramento home, including Tracy Vaughan, who moved to the city with her husband six months ago.
"We both worked for the same company, we both got laid off on the same day," she said.
"So yeah, it just kind of happened."
Another resident, Erich Platz, says there is no work to be had, making getting by tough.
"Nothing going on in concrete, nothing going on in carpentry, the housing - there's no boom any more so it's busted," he said.
Tent cities are cropping up at an alarming rate. Many shelters have run out of beds to accommodate the growing number of homeless.
Garren Bratchin from the Loaves and Fishes charity says the organisation has seen a 20 per cent jump in the number of homeless people using its services.
"It's been entire families, not just the guy that decides to leave his wife and get drunk - whole families; three or four, five people at a time," he said.
New figures show in February another 650,000 Americans lost their jobs, fuelling fears tented communities like this one will become more common.
I love to blog. This is a good way of expressing what you have learned. I am really into blogging, this can make my mind open to possibilities.
