“I head for the sticks with my bus and friends ”
I head for the sticks with my bus and friends,
I follow the road, though I don't know where it ends.
Get out of town, get out of town, think I'll get out of town.
Taking a few days off from blogging so hopefully things continue smoothly. We've loaded a few posts for auto-publish so we'll see how that works. And adjust the comments settings to try and keep things under control.
It's been a pretty amazing 2009 so far:
`Til the power goes out
The batteries dead
Twist and shout"
- lyrics referring to bloggers on "Fork in the Road":
- A Wish For Harvest Moon comes true for Danielle and Steve when Neil "takes a request from the internet".
- our new logos by Geoff Moore and HM Osterhout.
- 1.20.09: Be the rain, be the change, a sea change, be the wheat
Peace.

Children are laughing
in the sun
I count the voices
one by one
But I'm not there
to share the fun
I'm out on the
interstate
I can hear
a soft voice calling
Calling me
to bring my guitar home.
I'm happy singing
in a crowd
The lights are bright,
the music's loud
I like to look in every face
But out on the
interstate
I can hear
a soft voice calling
Calling me
to bring my guitar home.
Out in the dusty
desert wind
The fox goes looking
for a friend
She sees a light
around the bend
I'm out on the
interstate
I can hear
a soft voice calling
Calling me
to bring my guitar home.
Have a good time, Thrasher!
That's beautiful, mother.
As an English person recently escaped from the 'hell' that is modern socialist Britain I am rather disconcerted to find here in California a similar socialism, similar debt issues and an almost totalitarian blind love for a manipulative arrogant new president, already selling fear to excuse failure. At least Bush did not hide his shame!
There is a bail out comin' but it's not for me!
(to para) I am still sitting out here on the beach, and those seagulls are still out of reach.
Fork in the Road tells my truth: Neil Young is the Eric Arthur Blair of 2009.
I am so fed up of corruption and lack of justice and greed in this world. I blame Rolling Stone magazine, it is the worst example of blind hatred and smug delusion since Madorf!
Peace and Love to all!
