Neil Young on The Daily Show Tonight
Neil Young will appear on The Daily Show, hosted by Jon Stewart, tonight, Wednesday, March 8.
Should be a fun time like last year when Neil was musical guest for an entire week on the Conan O'Brien Show.

Thrasher, thanks for the "heads up"!
Just saw Neil on TDS. What a great interview-witty, relaxed, and completely charming. My favorite part was, during the introduction, Stewart saying, "That's the first time we've had a clip on the show that I didn't want to end."
What a lousy, useless interview. I've never seen Jon Stewart in awe of a guest before. He was giddy like a child and the whole thing was poor questions and tired answers.
I wanted better.
i watched it last night...i thought Neil looked great!!
As stated above,he was real calm and relaxed, really enjoying himself...
i loved when Jon Stewart said that he loved Neil's dog Elvis, and asked Neil if Elvis was his favorite dog...and Neil looks into the camera and says, with his hand outstretched to the camera "Carl, if you're watching this..." and shook his head lol
everybody started laughing and you could tell Neil was pretty proud of his joke lol
It's really nice when the interviewer is obviously a knowledgable fan, as Stewart seems to be. I wish someone, sometime asks him what's behind the extra cover plate on Old Black.
I must disagree that it was "a lousy, useless interview." Neil was a tremendous guest: humble & hilarious.
Yes, Stewart was clearly "in awe," as he should be. (And, isn't it interesting that the guy who just stood in front of Hollywood's so-called elite at the Oscars, was "giddy" in front of Neil? Movie Stars, Pro Athletes, you name it, there's still nothing quite like a ROCK STAR!)
Even if Jon Stewart had tried, it's difficult to imagine he could've coaxed Neil into sharing any deep, dark secrets. It would've just made for an uncomfortable, awkward exchange.
The way it worked out was perfect. The Daily Show probably picked up some new viewers, and Neil undoubtedly made an impression on a lot of people, some of whom might even try his music. Sounds like a well-executed TV appearance to me!
The person who said they had never seen Stewart in awe of a guest before. Please. You must have missed him licking John Kerry's feet, because that interview was sickening!
An enjoyable interview! First time I have seen Jon awed by a guest. Whole family loved it !
