World Premiere: Shakey Audio Book Project
As we reported late last year, the Shakey Audio Book Project which was in its final stages, has now been completed.
Approximately 20 Rusties have been involved in the project over the last 13+ months, which has been spearheaded by Ron "Welcome to Miami Beach. Everything is cheaper than it looks..." Starrett.
The world premiere webcast will be on Rust Radio -- which is hosted by web-jay Roel "Obviously Doing Well" -- and is scheduled for the weekend of January 13-15.
For additional details, artwork, photos and more on the making of The Shakey Audio Book, see the Baron Rouge's page.
A full review by Mike "Expecting To Fly" Cordova will be published in the upcoming issue of Broken Arrow (#101), published by the Neil Young Appreciation Society.

I would only like to say thank you, Mr. Young for your music. From "Sugar Mountain", "Cowgirl In The Sand" to "When God Made Me", you have encouraged and empowered me. I wish nothing but the best for you, your family and circle of friends.
Looking forward to your new movie.

Here is some feedback that has been received on the Shakey Audio Book Project:
Just wanted to offer my congrats and appreciation for the audio book
project. I've read Shakey twice, and have already heard a number of
snippits in the audio that just didn't quite sink in for some reason.
Maybe I was sleepy when I read them -- twice. :)
The quality is excellent and I really enjoy the mix of voices as
opposed to one person trudging through all chapters. Plus, it's
special knowing it's being read by people who care.
It's a nice passive listen while I'm doing other things. Appreciate
it very much and kudo's to all involved!
Regards,
Randy

Sharry Wilson:
Congratulations to Ron S. and all the other contributors for putting
together such a cool project. I think it's a great tribute to Neil by his
fans. I haven't had a chance to listen to it in its entirety yet, but what
I've heard so far is outstanding.

I've sent out a few copies this weekend to folks that requested it already. Seems
many were quite pleased with our efforts. Applause for all!
hi everyone. i'm probably way too late to the party, but is there any possible way to get a copy of the Shakey audio book, free or otherwise? sounds like a brilliant creation!
I too would love a copy of the audiobook. I'll pay!
