From This Is Texas Music Blog, comes word of a tribute to Neil Young being held January 28 in Austin, Texas.

"Local musicians come together to pay homage to their inspiration in a night of Neil Young. A celebration of Neil. Solo Neil. Neil with Crazy Horse. Neil with CSN. Neil with Buffalo Springfield. A Neil party, if you will. All your favorites performed live from albums like Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere, On the Beach, Harvest, Zuma, and more."

Grand Champeen, the Fighting Brothers McCarthy, and Milton Mapes are among a dozen artists scheduled to take the stage at Stubb's BBQ in the Neil Young tribute.

Local indie label Almost There Records is hosting the show in advance of Young's March visit for a SXSW keynote.
