Shoreline. So many shows. If I was still in WSanjose it's a 20 min drive. Wish I could be there. When Bill built it he had GD in mind. If you look at it from above it resembles a Stealie. Home to all but one BSB year. I was there for Brent Mydlands last show. A father's day with his young daughter on the piano bench as he sang to her. He would overdose 5 weeks later. GD would play 3 in spring and 3 in fall for years. Bridge w Simon & Garfunkel, Warren Zevon, Eddie Van Halen esp memorable . When you watch the vid Simon looks in awe of Eddie. BSB 2k is the greatest line up of any show not just that I saw but maybe ever heard of. Day 2 he opened w a mini BS set of Flying on the Ground is Wrong, Now a Days Clancy Can't Even Sing, Mr Soul all solo guitar. Oh how it deluged that year. But never dampened any spirits. On the lawn was very slippery. There was a path where everyone slipped and fell. Everytime ! Thousands of us waiting and laughing. No one got hurt. Scotty. Get that transporter working and beam me to Stage Left Bar. Damn those dylitheum chrystles . Sigh.
