NEW DATE: Neil Young in Edmonton, Canada - July 3
Neil Young will continue the "Honour the Treaties" concerts on July 3 at Edmonton's Rexall Place.
The concert will benefit the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation.
"The Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation (ACFN) are honoured to be joining iconic Canadian musician Neil Young on another Honour the Treaties concert supporting our legal defense fund," said Chief Allan Adam in a statement. "The ACFN are continuing our legal challenges to stop out of control Tar Sands development from destroying our traditional territory and rights as Indigenous peoples. With the support of Neil Young and fans we are creating more accountability from our governments for the safe guarding of our lands, rights and future generations in Alberta, Canada and beyond. Our people, our climate and our planet can no longer afford to be economic hostages in the race to industrialize the earth. We must act now for the future generations."
Tickets go on sale on May 1.

Did someone actually receive the T-shirt or poster from the previous Honor the Treaties campaign? My last communication from the First Nation campaign contact was from January this year, stating that they were "ready for shipping" - but I still haven't received mine...
Insert Indian giver joke *here*
I never received mine. I have emailed them 2 times now with no response.
I also haven't received mine. I wrote them twice and both times I received a response, but I haven't gotten anything from them at all. Very disappointing that supporting such a noble cause has left a bad taste in my mouth.
Same story here. No poster received. Donations are cool, false promises are not. Not everyone works for the government.
