Great show! The crowd kept the song screaming to a minimum, which was nice ... Setlist for Set 1 was the same as Sunday night. Set 2 was the same except Harvest Moon and Flying on the Ground were right before After the Goldrush ... And the encore was Thrasher! No Long May You Run as well, but that's ok. Thrasher was just too incredible.
Thrasher is a great choice of encore! That must have been wonderful to hear live.
Nice to see a few different songs added since January. I agree with Jimmy McDonough that Neil's acoustic shows are best when he deviates from the standards (Sugar Mountain/Comes A Time/Heart Of Gold etc).
Looking forward to hearing a recording (hopefully)!

Great encore: Thrasher
One of the best concerts I've ever seen. It's too bad the chick in the front row, who was out of control caused Neil to leave a song early.
THANK YOU NEIL FOR THE MOST MAGICAL BIRTHDAY EVER! My HUSBAND AND I HAD A CHOISE TO BUY 2 GOOD SEATS or BRING OUR CHILDREN AND SIT IN THE NOSE BLEEDS. WE BROUGHT OUR CHILDREN AND THEY LOVED IT AND WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER SEEING THE LEGENDARY MAN. I LOVED ALL OF IT. GROWING UP I WOULD PLAY MY GUITAR AND SING AFTER THE GOLD RUSH IN THE DARK WHILE MY KIDS FELL ASLEEP. THEY HAD TEARS WHEN THEY HEARD IT LIVE. THANK YOU NEIL. STACEY LEYVA COSTA MESA, CA.
Ben, he started right at 8pm and I missed the first few songs, so get there early! Enjoy...
I am going tonight...I would love to hear him do CSNY's Helpless, which he has done solo before...I can't wait...I know it will be amazing tonight!
Thrasher returns! I'd be a little disappointed if I saw night 2. I wonder if not playing it had anything to do with the jackass screaming for Cinnamon Girl all night.
I went a little thrifty on my ticket purchase MEZ 2 ROW A, will I be upset I did't spend a little more money for a better seat.
Good to know Stacy Dee...I am taking my kids (ages 23 & 21) tonight! Gotta see the legends! ;)
Great show last night! We got to hear Thrasher (only a one song encore last night). The Gordon Lightfoot rendition was fantastic. A great stripped down acoustic show! loved it. Neil is the man!
Tears streaming down my face as I watched the video of Neil singing Thrasher. “And I’ll know the time has come to give what’s mine.”
I would have loved to see him play a solo show. Honestly, if watching Neil play doesn't inspire or make you feel anything anymore, why are you still going to his shows?
I went to see Dylan a couple years ago for my 3rd time - the show blew me away, i was two rows from the stage. Bob was energetic, voice was sounding pretty good, the band was tight, and he brought out a couple of unexpected songs. It was one of the best shows I had ever seen. Afterwards, i went to go piss before leaving, and in the bathroom a couple of older dudes were saying how bad Dylan's voice is and that he should give up touring. I couldnt believe my ears.
All Im trying to say is that even if it was an off night for Neil, if the listener isn't feeling if, the fault lies more with him than with the musician. It's jist a matter of perception.
I used to listen to this post-hardcore band from Jersey, amd they were my favorite group in the world for a long while. Anyways, they came to my city to play a show, and a week before had announced that they were breaking up. The concert was incredible and full of emotion, people were going crazy. Two weeks later me and my friend went to philly for their last show. I was expecting to hear all kinds of different songs and rarities, and to my disappointment their set was exactly the same. Not only that, but i didnt feel the same catharsis thag I did during the previous show. Yet many of the people i talked to were saying that it was the best they had ever seen. I should have just enjoyed the first experience for what it was
Incredible show. It's almost a month later and I'm still in awe. I've been going to concerts for 20 years and this was one of my top 5 all time. THRASHER!
