Uhh, that will be 3am in Taipei. Think I need to get up and join this, though. Haven't used Twitter that much - can Thrasher / someone confirm that the question will be seen by Neil, as long as the tweet contains the strings "@neilyoung" and "#AskNeil", in whichever order - no other syntax needs to be followed?
Darth Malt, I am 99.9% sure that is all you need to do. They can get the question just from the #askneil hash-tag, but I'm sure putting @neilyoung helps too.

i noticed that Psycedelic Pill is the firt Neil Young and Crazy Horse album that says "with" Crazy Horse rather then "and" Crazy Horse since their very first album.
I know Neil mentioned that the "with" was important in the book, so i'm just wondering what, if anything this means.
ehhh, i found this interesting for some reasons because you just know there's a reason behind it.

Can someone (Archives Guy?) clarify whether the alternate mixes of PP are considered part of the album proper, or are bonus tracks? Initially they were listed as bonus tracks but now the word 'bonus' doesn't appear anywhere (besides, how can they be bonus tracks if they appear on all versions of the album?)

Depends on how you look at it. Some think every new Neil song is a bonus. But, yes it's not a bonus when it's on all formats. So, it's part of the album.

what did Neil say about a european tour with crazy horse ?
I asked him if he had heard the John Hiatt song Perfectly Good Guitar--the solo in that song was made for Neil Young to play. I said he should cover it. Sadly, no answer. Then to be a dick I asked if he was making a record with GNR.
he wrote "yes" when someone asked him if he'd be touring with the horse in Europe next year!!!!

Neil didn't exactly open up and pound away answering the rush of questions by his fans - he mainly shot out some 1-4 word replies to what seemd to me the more trivial or jokey questions.
I guess this was to be expected. It seems like he felt some level of discomfort or disconnect with Twitter as a communication medium. His last reply was "Neil: Why did you wait until you were sober to do "Psychedelic Pill?" I enjoy talking to myself on Twitter. Good bye. Thanks for listening."
I think he's more comfortable with intimate one-on-one discourse, or with a communication process and medium that he can fully control (like the book), which I can definitely relate to.
The information nuggets I could gleam is that he's remastered his entire back catalogue, and these will be released with Pono (assumably in remastered CD/blu-ray/vinyl format as well, though he didn't elaborate on this) - and a reconfirmation of a European tour next year (I was hoping for a time-frame for this - in a spectacular display of lack of forward planning I got married on the weekend of one Finland's main rock festivals. Alas, I haven't spent an anniversary since then standing in mud listening to rock and therefore need early planning to ensure I'll get to see the Horse somewhere in Europe).

Ramada Hill is een epische rocksong met galmende gitaarnoten. Zestien minuten ruim… Maar van begin tot eind blijf je aandachtig luisteren. En kijken, want er is ook een filmpje bij geschoten met een ware sixties feel. Het zogeheten ‘neilyounchannel’ op YouTube heeft de surfer vanaf begin oktober meerdere malen getrakteerd op nieuw materiaal van de meester en zijn gekke paardenkrachten. Ook te vinden op YouTube? Twisted Road en Walk Like A Giant. Maar dat is nog lang niet alles. Het nieuwe wapenfeit van Neil Young & Crazy Horse heet Psychedelic Pill. Een heuse dubbel-cd met zo’n 85 minuten eerlijke, heerlijke rockmuziek. Een heel plezierige pil, kortom. Met veel jankende gitaren, bakken met botte noise en gierende feedback. Maar bovenal veel spontaniteit. Ook aardig om te vermelden? De band besteedt rijkelijk aandacht aan de koortjes. Al deze muzikale feiten opgeteld, maken dat dit een idiosyncratische muzikale ervaring is. Relevant eveneens? Jazeker! Op deze manier mogen Young en consorten nog wel een paar albums doorgaan.
