"Everybody get together": Crosby, Stills, Nash & Joni Mitchell - 1969
We can't really explain it, but we've had Joni Mitchell on our mind a lot recently.
Must've been that Photo of the Moment of Joni Mitchell and Neil Young that triggered something.
From the film Celebration at Big Sur, 1969, "Everybody Get together": Crosby, Stills, Nash with Joni Mitchell and John Sebastian. (Thanks SONY!)
Got to get back to the garden...

You know what, Thrasher, I've had Joni on my mind alot too.
And I can't quite put my finger on why, but it's been strong enough to throw a few of her vinyls into my line of sight at a local record store, and kind enough to have let me fall upon a beautiful book collecting all of her poems and lyrics at a used bookstore not far from my home.

Joni is the best,
She keeps inspiring musicians generation after generation! The one and only. Wish she was still performing

love Joni..cool.!. thanks Thrasher
Damn kids, is that all they do is hang around and sing peace songs?
Hippies, SONY, they're damn hippies...
And there's nothing wrong with singing peace songs...
although some people think that "just singing a song won't change the world".
Bring on THE HORSE
Damn, even I do have the bring-on-the-horse-blues...

dave from vancouver wa......joni rocks...my favorite song is car on a hill....love it and love her...
Interesting ... Get Together was part of Joni's repertoire in the late 1960s, Jesse Colin Young (Youngbloods) opened for CSNY 74, and Neil revived it for last year's Bridge ... Thanks!
Bring on THE HORSE
Was this song before or after Stills went into the crowd to beat some guy's ass? quite a hypocritical time in our nation's history. Hell, most of the time CSN&Y were ready to kill each other....
Another music blog with no music.
KEWL....!!!
