I would take a guess closer to as many sides as a geodesic dome for starters.
Good perspective there. I nodded my head all the way through. Nice to see Brother Bob as well. As for the first guy, I don't know who he is, but he really needs to lose the hat.
It never ceases to amaze me just how much Neil has done in his life across the whole gamut of society. As Sony said,his life is a polygon.
His work with Pegi with the bridge school alone is an amazing humanitarian achievement.Long may you Run Neil and long may you strum!

I agree, Doc. I think Neil's personal experience raising two children with disability labels has changed how HE views disability in general and that it continues to send soundwaves down the mountainside.
Ben makes him a better person entirely, but isn't that what all our children (labeled disabled or not) do? If children don't convert you by bringing out the very best in you, then God have mercy on you.
Having children in general is a real test of your own humanity. Some of the most courageous acts are demonstrated by a parent when it is recognized they're not up for the lifelong challenge of parenting and they begin reaching out for help.
We need more intervention, education, and counseling to help a parent connect so they can do what's in the best interest of their child because there are 4 million children (11% of population in USA ages 6 to 14) who have a disability. There are 11 million who need personal assistance with one or more activities of daily living. There are 2.6 million (age 15 and older) not understood by others because they cannot communicate.

I took my 21 year old son out for his first beer on his birthay. FYI *wink* beer has the same effect on an adult with CP as it does for an adult without.

Not news that insurance companies are going to duke it out over $500k. That's loose change for Shakey. Remember, no one was injured or killed. That's all that matters here.
One could argue that it matters that insurance companies charge very high prices to insure you and then when something happens they run away as fast as possible.
Alex, The difference between people who have money and the people who don't, is:
1) Luck
2) Personal focus on making more money. Rich people stay rich at all costs because they don't focus on losing money, they focus on making it.
Believe me, $500k is drop in the bucket for Neil Inc. It's cheaper to pay than be charged $800-$1,300 hourly for consultation & litigation.
I think money is the root of all evil personally. I manage fine without it.
If Neil caused the fire then he should be responsible for the damages.
Was it allowed to store an electric car - that might malfunction - in the building.

Well Alex does have a point about insurance companies offering you coverage (like general liability) and then dickering over a claim when it's filed.
It sounds to me like what ambulance chasers do -- they extort money from people because they can.
There was no fraud or misrepresentation about the car; Lincvolt being sued because the insurance company is run by a bunch of ambulance chasing buttholes.
Did Neil cause the fire and the damage?
If so, he should pay up.
Alex was right on the money about scam insurance companies luring businesses into a complacency over coverage. Lincvolt LLC is getting scammed over $500k because Unigard knows the check is already in the mail. It would cost more to fight it.
OTOH, it's gotta look bad for Unigard when their clients see how they handle an "unforseen accident" like this especially when their website encourages potential clients to take out additional insurance for special coverage like breakdown in equipment.
