The "some babe" with Peter Yarrow in the pic at the bottom looks like it could be a young Joan Baez.
good pix...I don't think the "chick" is Baez...there is a great video of the Springfileld playing FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH on a TV show featuring Neil and Dewey clowning a bunch...
No, no, no, Nan. Joan's Mom would have made sure Joan's name was included in that group. It would have been a real insult to that family for their daughters (Joan & Mimi) to be referred to as "some babe" in some stupid teeny bopper fan mag.
My guess it's somebody from the studio, Dating Game Contestant, or one of Peter's groupies. (He is the world's biggest flirt.)

Hand over heart when I speak of Teen Set Magazine.
They really LOVED Buffalo Springfield and were very generous on reporting the latest news every month beginning in 1966!
That's how I was able to get to know them, and fall madly in love with them at such a young age (11).
I have the sweetest memories of buying this magazine (more expensive than the others), sitting down at the diner with my hamburger and Coca Cola and reading it cover to cover. It took a lot of time and effort to save the money for these monthly excursions.
It sure was a different world back then! What freedom I had to be able to do this!
I remember that there was a lot of humor in this magazine as well.
I also believe that the picture you provided of the "Hollywood Indian" was first published in Teen Set (that's how I remember it almost 46 years later).

It's nice to know that the Buff were appreciated during their claim to fame.
Marian, did Bob Dylan ever make it into one of those teen magazines?Just curious. Many people relied on that kind of "media exposure" to stay in the game. If you weren't in one of those magazines, then you were a nobody.
Sometimes I think the world has become one big mercenary-driven teeny bopper magazine.
Never mind, I found one Jan & March 1966 16 Magazine on e-bay with Bobby Zimmerman.
