Trasher -
Correct me if i'm wrong, but i thought Neiler played in Alabama in 1973? February 5th, 1973 to be exact, in Tuscaloosa.
Wonder if neil will play "Alabama" at this upcoming Alabama gig???

I think they mean 1st time in Mississippi
OK, we'll give Trasher the benefit of the doubt on this one, but he did say Alabama in his post.

So I love Neil and am very excited to fly down and see the Pensacola and Mobile shows. I've never seen him before. What is the best way for me to get in the first few rows? Do they offer those tickets through the presale?
Thanks
Any band news? He said he wanted to play Vampire Blues- but with a band.
Do I smell Horse?
Way to go Neil- stick it to those BP idiots!
Lincoln:: I got my tix through the presale on Neil's website and landed 4th row for Clearwater. You just have to be quick when they go on sale.
I said solo ... THEY said Crazy Horse.
No more Biloxi Blues
I said solo ... They pray for CRAZY HORSE !
any one knows if he has any plans to play in other places , north to the gulf? lets say nyc?
my tickets for clearwater say neil young solo acoustic on them, not neil young solo...
Wow, perusing through YouTube, stumbled upon this amazing Neil / Crazy Horse stampede!

Y'all should check out AnthonyCrawford.com
Great site, great music and
OTRWARS videos.
He'll be in Alabama too,in October.
Very affordable ticket prices I'm sure.
This isn't Anthony writing here, just a fan who looks further into Neils' inner circle of musical cohorts and likes to pass along info, especially about this guy.
But does he fit in here?
The Biloxi tickets are on sale now.
@ Anon 12.51 pm - Of course Anthony Crawford doesn`t fit in here, we all know he`s still just TOO NICE!

Actually, Anthony news is fine, of course.
It's all one band!
Anthony is a gifted multi instrumentist, though probably not as Ben and has worked with great songwriters. He writes songs as well.I hope that he'll have more space now.Neil was a close friend of Ben, so Crawford hadn' t so great space in the band.He probably deserves more than the vocals with Pegi.
Andrea."So Tired".
@ Anon 12.51pm - I was joking ,of course, but I`m sure you realized that! For anyone who didn`t get that here`s a link to `On the Road With A Rock Star`, final episode. Do watch them all though, he`s funny, talented and a great musician with a beautiful voice.

After seeing The Pegi Young Band live, I would have to say that Mr. Crawford's guitar playing is what drove that band, pedal to metal with Ben's.
What I am really jacked about with this guy is his first solo album from 1993. It's over on Amazon for just pennies and it's not available on his website.Check it out. You won't be disappointed.
As for me, I plan on doing some bar hopping in Fair Hope in October. Should be inspiring....
A Bit off topic....OK...here goes...Lots O' People clammering and calling out for Crazy Horse...this is as close as I came to Crazy Horse(s) last week. This happened to the group in front of mine. We were competing in "The Tour of the Catskills" upsstae NY. One guy gets the "bumms" rush of to the right. The other guy in the middle of the road (Neil always said...Stay out of the middle of the road) gets backed up over...thankfully everyone was able to ride away. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5fv91yB4Gw
OMG TOM CRAC! No one was hurt?
I saw that horse rear up and stomp down on that bicyclist that rolled off into the ditch! Never a good place to be behind a horse, especially on a bicycle! Did anyone help that guy out???
(It looked like the horse was really doing a number on that guy in the ditch!)
Everyone re-mounted, cyclists and equestrians alikie, and rode off into the sunset...everyone was very lucky to continue (except for day 3 wich included an infamous climb of "Devil's Kitchen"...This "road" must have been paved from the top down..So many Neil songs rotating through my head on that climb..."...why do I keep F'n up?!!"...:)
