New Concert Date: Neil Young in Clearwater, FL on Sept 22 + Farm Aid 2010
A new Neil Young concert date has been announced for Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, FL on Sept 22. Tickets on sale Fri @ Noon.
Just another stop on Neil Young's "Twisted Road" Concert Tour.
Also, Farm Aid 25: Growing Hope for America announced for Saturday, October 2 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Tickets for "Farm Aid 25: Growing Hope for America" will go on sale at 9 a.m. Aug. 14, at the Brewers box office, by calling (414) 902-4000.

why can't all the gulf dates be announced at the same time?
the lookout business model seems to be geared to "let them think he is only playing there. that way they will buy tickets for each announced show and will be broke and pissed off when a show is announced in their neighborhood"
Saw Neil in Albany, and hope to catch the show again, Florida sounds like fun. Caught the last 3 Farm Aids and will be at Wisconsin. Thrasher - keep up the great work. SMOKESTACK LIGHTNING
So anyone know what's up with CRAZY HORSE ??? Is Neil finished with them for some reason ?

I can't view the Farmaid video, but somone posted in the comments "Yeah Crazy Horse!" Any truth to that for those that could hear the video?
Okay, so there is a presale yesterday at 6 p.m. for the "fans". We drop everything and are at the controls when tickets go on pre-sale. What happens? They only put the most expensive seats ($250 and $175)on the presale. The less expensive seats will be available at the general sale. Thanks so much Lookout! Don't you worry about us fans that cannot afford the big ticket prices we'll go to the general sale. What a crock!
Actually, I think the $175 seats ARE the cheap seats. Makes sense that only the best seats would be sold at the presale anyway. I was strongly thinking about the Clearwater show, but I'm hoping he comes a bit further north.
Just bought my tickets for the clearwater show. I waited in line (for the first time!) at the venue to buy tickets, and got great seats.
Most importantly though, the tickets say:
"Neil Young Solo Acoustic"
maybe this show is "I said solo acoustic, you said twisted road"
guess we will have to wait and see...

I love Neil solo just as much as anybody, but I too would love to see Crazy Horse back together! It's been 6 years!! That's easily the longest Neil has ever gone without playing with them. It's getting kind of depressing. I am truly happy that Neil is out there playing at all, however. I would just really like to see him back with Crazy Horse before it's too late!!!
There is NO BIGGER fan of Neil on this planet but the prices for his show in Clearwater Florida at Ruth Eckerd Hall are SOOO out of whack for most folks in this economy, and I make good money. I realize that it may be the last time I might be able to see this guy but come on....$75 bucks for the few back row seats only to go up to $250> I'm sorry. Not for me. Not even for Neil and I never thought I'd say that.
