Poetry In Motion: Why Neil Young's LincVolt Matters
With Lincvolt at a turning point in development, along comes an intense and passionate essay on the project that takes a journey through art, technology and history.
"Poetry In Motion: Why Neil Young's LincVolt Matters" by Karen Barry on Blogcritics:
We need people like Neil Young, and projects like LincVolt, things that are going to make people feel something, to push our environmental agenda forward. Things that are going to force people to think differently, things that are going to give people permission to abandon their safe haven of reason and rational thought and step into the unknown, to light a candle inside themselves and wander into the dark corners of their imaginations and their hearts.
It’s time to do things differently.
Poetry In Motion: Take it for a spin.
Keep on bloggin' Karen.

Hi Rusties!
A few weeks ago i had the chance to watch the documentary WHO KILLED THE ELECTRIC CAR? You MUST watch it even if it's sad and frustrating... Too bad Neil , i would truly have bought a LV.
By the way is it LV in the clip Cry Cry Cry ?
thanks for the link, t! lovekaren
Just like everything else in Neils life and career, the 'Lincvolt' project has been left behind as Neil has shifted gears and moved on to something new, no doubt. Not to say that he no longer has an interest in environmental concerns, it's just that his 'moth in a lampshade' personna will not allow him to remain focussed on one style or interest for very long before he asks himself "what was that about"?, then its on to the next thing that demands his focus until the next thing comes along. The only thing that has been a constant in his life and career for any length of time with any amount of consistancy would have to be his devotion to Pegi and the kids .. everything else is fair game!
change being the relative constant here
