Portrait of Neil Young by Al Hirschfeld
Neil Young
Caricature artist Al Hirschfeld created some of the most well known portraits of celebrities for the New York Times for many years.
Here's Hirschfeld's rendering of Neil Young.
One of Hirschfeld's signature traits was to embed each portrait with "The Nina". This was the trick of integrating the name of his daughter into the drawing itself.
Can you find "The Nina" in Neil Young's portrait?
With Neil's upcoming honors as MusiCares Man of the Year, we would imagine we might be seeing more artistic portraits of Mr. Young.

That's great.
Do we have any idea when this drawing dates from?
I think it's from late '90s.
I wonder if the caricature of Steven Tyler of Aerosmith would look like Neil? :->

Variety is reporting that Neil Young will be the musical guest on the final (??) Late Night with Conan O' Brien show:

Hey, where is "The Nina"? Or did my myopia grow worse?
Interesting caricature but, with all due respect to Al Hirschfeld, I have to say I prefer Joni`s (as shown on TW a while back).
I can`t find "The Nina" either! Can anyone?

I think Nina is easier to find than Neil here. (sorry)
The Hirshfeld drawings give a clue of how many "Nina's" imbedded in the drawing by the number following her name. The easiest to find are usually in hair.
