Neil Young doing a Greatest Hits-show, a hit machine...
Well, I don't mind, it was fuckin great. "Love and only love", "Hey Hey My My", "Powderfinger", Fuckin' Up", "Cortez...", "Oh Lonesome me", "Mother Earth", "Needle", "Heart of Gold", "Old Man", "Singing a song...", "Get back to the country" then – another new song, that "no one has ever heard, not even we...", aye sort of bluesy, riff song that reminded me of - T-bone! Ha ha. Ok, then "Words" (marvelous!), "Free World" and as an encore "A Day in the Life". Great show, Neil was in a talkative mood, lots of smiles. And The Flaming Lips played "After the Goldrush" on the other stage, just minutes before Neil was about to go on...
One of the best Neil-concerts I've seen! Peace, Magicmops
Oh I forgot, "Unknown Legend" after "Needle..." and "Cinnamon Girl" after "Cortez...". Well, well, just came back...
Great (again), Magicmops
Agree, it was a great show. Never seen Neil in such a good mood actually. And then Cortez and two new songs, made the evening even greater.
Way Out Best!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God damn it was good!!.
First time I've seen Neil Young in concert, and there was no complaining about this set. It was a ripper.
My first Neil Young-concert and it was... magical. One of the best concerts I've ever been to, and I've been to quite a few. I almost cried a little when he played Mother Earth. And the new song (Sea Change?) was great with its "Early-70s-Keith-Richards-guitar"-riff. :-)
Happy to find this blog with news about Neil Young. I have listened to him in three decades but still not seen him live. Now, with help of this blog I may get information about there he plays, so I can buy tickets.

Great! Two new songs! Like them both.
"Sea Change" is wonderful rocking song but it's hard to understand the lyrics... James Brown? It ain't funny?
Great guitar sound!!! Dreaming of a new album.
See Change or Sea Change?
NY: "Yeah, we're still working on that one".
But is sounds damn good...
sea change
1. a striking change, as in appearance, often for the better.
2. any major transformation or alteration.

It's a really cool rocking tune! Hope it ends up on a new album soon:D
Im gonna see him in Oslo tomorrow for the forth time this year. But I'm thrilled as if it was the first time!
20 years ago I heard NY for the first time and finally I got to see him live and it was perfect! There is nobody else that comes even close to his genius. I hope he continues forever.
Yep, an awesome show indeed. This was the sixth time I have seen Neil live and he has always delivered. This show was right there at the top with the others. The sound was excellent and I didn't even need my ear plugs, unlike for most of the other acts at the festival. A highlight for me was Words which I had never heard live before and it was beautiful. Electric guitar art at its finest!
I have admired Mr Young's music for years but never been able to catch him live, for various reasons. Then 2 dates are announced in my native Scotland. Guess what? sold out within minutes. So I made the trek to Gothenburg to see him. Boy , was it worth it. I've seen many big names over the years and Neil is up there with the best of them. Really impressed with the way he attacked the guitar. The band's presentation was tight and although he played many of his well known songs they were still played in a personal and sincere manner. I'll be back for more!
