The Case of the Exploding Sidebar

We interrupt this tour to bring you a technical update. As some of you have mentioned, the right sidebar occasionally disappears. Actually, the sidebar is there, although it has been pushed below the post column.

This seems to occur with the IE 6.0 browser. The problem is that sometimes the feeds in the sidebar explode too far right at times. This occurs with weird formatting, extra long URL's, or when a feed invalidates due to server congestion.

Firefox and other browsers seem to handle this problem OK by keeping the columns parallel.

Sorry about that. We don't have control over the feed contents obviously.

Folks seem to like the feed feature so we'll continue with them. The only other thing we can suggest is that Thrasher's Wheat has been optimized for Firefox and so try and use when possible.
