Just back from the concert. It was a solid performance by Neil Young & Band, he seemed to have some fun out there. They started off electric, then went to acoustic and then back to electric again. Very intimate atmosphere at Wiesen, a good crowd of all ages, very good organization.
I enjoyed it very much and will keep on rocking in the free world!
just back from wiesen.
it was an outstanding concert. no surprise in the setlist, but cortez (he didn't played it in february in vienna) was superb.
a day im my life was great.
if you're a neil young fan don't miss the concert, otherwise you've missed something very important in yout life..
best neil i´ve ever seen. even better than the vienna show last february. that´s all there is to say.
cheers, thomas

what a great concert! his energy is unbelievable. i was blown away by his performance just as i was earlier this year in vienna. i got introduced to neil young and his music a few years ago by a friend of mine and i'm so glad that he is still around today and in such great shape so that us younger folks is given the opportunity to see him in concert. the audience was very mixed with lots of young people. neil and the band were in a great mood. there was a lot of joking going around onstage and he was smiling a lot. my personal highlights included cortez, helpless, unknown legend and cowgirl. and a day in the life was just amazing.
i'm hoping to see him many more times in the future. thanks for this great experience!!
keep up the great work on this site.
and long may he run
best neil this year compared to vienna and leipzig; unbelievable first electric set, some little surprises (fuckin up, helpless). also a really great ending with cowgirl and ritfw. the whole band seemed to have a lot of fun, neil really got into his improvisations. rick rosas did some kinds of bass-solos at cowgirl and he even spoke into the mic after the introduction of ben keith. something like "give him a big hand".
all in all one of the greatest concerts i've ever been.

Just back from Wiesen to Italy.
The best Neil show I've ever seen, Cowgirl in the Sand first time live for me, a dream that came true!
Lot of fun on stage, Neil's often smiling and laughing, expecially in Ben Keith introduction, and great audience in a very nice place.
At the end, Larry Cragg said: "For these dates, Neil decided for no written setlist on stage, nobody knows the next song. So my work become more difficult. And the few days ago Neil started with a song I was thinking I never heard before (I supposed Wrecking Ball)".
