What a great fucking show. Neil is the greatest guitar player I've ever seen live. Period.

Cortez, wow, that's cool - wish he would have played it in Oberhausen as well...

A magic night, that's the best i can say now
I've seen him before with Booker T. and with Crazy Horse. No doubt that his songs sound different when played by each backing band, but are always great live versions. The man, himself goes from epic to sweet, and noisy.
Lisbon top moments (in my own opinion...): Cortez, Rockin' in a Free World, Heart of Gold & Words. Less songs than on previous shows, but when you a get an epic "Cortez..." played for so long... it doesn´t matter!

Was this show broadcast on TV?
well the whole festival was broadcasted live on tv but Neil did not allow them to broadcast his show. Ben harper and donavon frankenreiter did, Neil did not...tell me why?
I was really hoping to follow the show since i could not be there...Mr disappointment!
Bummer. Does anyone know if any of the shows on the next leg will be broadcast?
Also, does anyone know if there's a chance the Rock In Rio Madrid performance will be re-broadcast without commercials?
They probably wanted to broadcast the event in a compressed audio format, something many TV & radio stations do these days... and Neil opted against it. Not sure if it was the reason, but if that's why Neil said "no" I am fine with it... to hell with compressed audio !!!
gig in lisbon was just amazing. Cortez was played in europe for 1st time during summer tour. and No Hidden Path was like 20minutes at least. saw Neil first time 12 yrs ago, and this MAN still rocks, still the best. thx God, i witnessed magic
Grande espectáculo. Grande Artista, com a música no sangue, transbordante. O Neil que amo há 30 anos e que vou amar sempre....pois, a música é eterna e felizmente.....it's a long road.
