Happy Halloween!

Boo!
Which reminds us of the monster concert Neil did in Hamilton, Ontario, Oct 31, 1996 with a 24 song set that went for nearly 3 hours. Here's a report from HyperRust: Neil Days In Canada by Mark Klus a.k.a.Powderfinger".
Happy Halloween!

A very cool pumpkin carving for Halloween. Here's one from Neil fans Kurt & Lisa.

I was at the Hamilton show Halloween 1996 and Neil was certainly catching a good buzz
What stood out for me was Natural Beauty - it went into a distortion and feedback zone like you never heard. I watched Neil with his head down and moving around the amp like he was painting a picture - totally lost in what he was doing - it was unbelievable
And a 7 song encore ...
I have seen Neil about 20 times - for me thats where he peaked playing live. Of course looking forward to the new shows but give me The Horse the way they were tuned up in 1996 and I'll be in heaven
horse in 96>all
Agreed. When I saw Neil in Seattle, I was ultimately comparing that performance to the Horse show at The Gorge in 96 and some of the other 96 shows. No fair, but I can't hep it. Long live Neil.
