Massey Hall #1 on Amazon
The Archives Massey Hall CD, is #1 on the Amazon Best Sellers Listing.
Not that it matters since numbers add up to nothing.

Got Massey Hall today! Audio is great! Some neat comments from Neil between songs.
Just watched the DVD and it's pretty nice. My only complaint is that the audio and video are definitely from different shows and there's no video of Neil playing Helpless, Love In Mind, Bad Fog Of Loneliness, and Down By The River which is what I wanted to see the most. It's kind of annoying watching the video and seeing it not matching up with the audio, but it's better than nothing and the songs without video of Neil playing do have intercut home movie footage of Neil's ranch and modern 8mm footage of a tape player around Neil's piano and guitars...
Full performances from The Johnny Cash show, a small segment of the Old Man section from the Swingin' mit Neil Young documentary, and of course the Archives video from Neil's ranch talking about the album are also included on the DVD.
There's also 2 short radio interviews from 1989 talking about Old Man and A Man Needs A Maid...along with phots and tons of other goodies.
When I went to the Best Buy near me the price for the CD and CD/DVD were the same...so it's definitely worth getting the CD/DVD combo pack!
Hope everyone enjoys!
The Best Buy near me had the CD and CD/DVD packages priced differently. The CD/DVD combo is well worth paying the "correct" price for though.
I watched some of the Massey Hall video last night. I have to agree about the video sometimes being from a different show. I guess that just points out that only one of the shows was filmed while both were recorded. Hasn't it been stated that the CD is a combo of the early and late shows?
It was great to have the Johnny Cash show performances as a bonus. Hopefully the inclusion of the 'Swinging Mit Neil Young' material means that the full thing will be in the Archives Vol 1 DVDs, along with the BBC concert as long as we're dreaming here.
Hey everyone, there's a new video of My Back Pages from the Bob Dylan 30th Anniversary Concert in 1992. It's not the VH-1 version that shows the recap during Neil's solo. This one actually shows Neil playing and he sings the last verse by himself, which was overdubbed by everyone on the VH-1 version. It's rather nice.
And no offense to Bob Dylan, but he just sounds terrible in the true recording.

Massey hall is just awsome!!Being a Senior fan,my only hope is that I'll live long enough to get all the releases! The vocals are angelic sounding, and See the Sky About to Rain is so beautiful.Neil has given so much to so many.I can't thank you enough Neil.God bless you.(Roadeyeluv)....
I bought the CD/DVD package from HMV at Can$17.99, the price is very reasonable. The live performance is excellent and perfect, the audio sound is so good but the video is just OK, some live clips are missing and the picture quality are quite bad. But I don'T mind, the other bonus materilas at DVD are so interesting, every Neil's fan should has one.
