“Thank you Canada.
You know I’m only here for those trees up there and it’s a beautiful, and it’s a precious, sacred thing, these old trees because they show us the power of nature when we are being threatened. They show us the past and they show us our future.
That’s something I hope our Canadian government and business section will recognize that this has to do with Canada. It has to do with the ages, if we are lucky enough to have ages. These trees have lasted so long they deserve Canada’s respect.”
The rally called on the British Columbia government to take more decisive action against deforestation of old-growth forests and commercial logging.
The only other Neil Young concerts scheduled are for Stephen Stills & Neil Young @ ‘Light Up the Blues’ Benefit and Willie Nelson 90th Birthday Hollywood Bowl Tribute on April 29-30.

Neil is so relevant in our world, and I’m so happy to see him out playing in front of people again. It has been a long time coming, and I hope he can put together a tour before even more time passes. His message is clear, and he’s sending it out into the either for those with the power to turn things around…….. if they’re listening….. which is sadly unlikely.
…..”live music is better” bumper stickers should be issued.
Peace 🙏
Welcome back to the stage!
So awesome to see

Forthcoming Stills archival release - a live album from 71:

Wonderful to see Neil's first public performance since covid was in my area, the Great Pacific Northwest. Vancouver Island where Victoria is has an amazing number of giant trees - unless the loggers get them all!
Thanks Neil!
And a plug to Neil fans to check out native Victoria musician Leeroy Stagger. He's one of those many great musicians who tours all the time he can, has multiple albums, but is not well known, and deserves much more recognition and success.
